A bisexual can be with a trans person, being trans is not "other gender" pansexuality isn't a sexual orientation

The definition of pansexuality generally includes the idea that you're attracted to people regardless of their gender, which also includes all other gender, so e.g. non-binary people. But there are many more labels and everyone is of course free to choose which suits them :)

Nathalie Álvarez incorrect. Pansexual has been a term for over a decade to describe a person who is attracted to someone regardless of gender... I.e drag, trans etc etc. Bisexuals have a preference for males or females. Pansexual is not an insult or a bad word it’s a way of describing the most open minded of person. A lot of people are not comfortable getting sexual with a trans person. Sorry to burst your bubble. Pansexual is an orientation.

Victoria Warren Yea but how many straight men want to date a pre op transsexual? It's not her fault but straight men are not attracted to the male physique or genitals and you can't hate them for not being gay. Maybe some straight guys would be happy to go through her transition with her once they'd got to know her but it would hardly be in their recommended list when surveyed would it? Also there's the whole issue of having kids. Same way, if as a woman, you know you can't have kids, you should tell the man you're getting into a relationship with in case they really want them, that side of things could be a deal breaker. They should have tried a bit harder to find a straight guy up for it maybe but it's not an easy task I shouldn't think. It was unfortunate but you couldn't send a straight guy into that situation unawares either.
