In the United States, I am used to beef so for me it's beef all the way. Whenever I am served Italian spaghetti with their meat mix in think what is this, cuz the meat taste is not to my personal liking. Beef hits the spot

But if it's cooked properly (it takes a lot of time. A lot!) You won't taste the pig. Ragù is very famous in Italy and we cook it in every regions. Maybe someone likes a different mix of meats.
