Very, very similar premise to the "Majestic 13" game from Snarling Badger. Both look very interesting games for Co-op and Solo!! 😁

A minis-agnostic game is kind of stuck when it comes to setting. If you make it too evocative, you drive off people who don't want to "break the rules". Too generic, and it will just be ignored. I prefer either a very specific, fleshed-out setting (like Frostgrave) or a wide-open one like The Doomed. You could play almost any setting you want in these rules - 40K, Star Wars, Alien, post-apoc...

That was very informative. Between your video and another video that was just a real time play-through, I'm pretty much sold on this game. It's possible so many background things are purposely vague in the book so that the players can fill in their own blanks, much like when you make a homebrew setting in Dungeons & Dragons.
