Hey, quick question - how do you find LAMP holding up these days, 2 years in? They're having a great sale at the moment and am considering picking it up. Thank you!

I still love it. It can be a bit finicky, with the lack of RR samples (it can be really easy to get the machine gun effect if you aren’t careful), as well as having some hard to tame frequency buildup and room noise/hiss, so it’s not perfect, but it does the epic, Hans Zimmer style percussion sound better than anything else (even HZ perc lol). At the end of the day, these are my favorites- damage 2, LAMP, Ferrum trailer percussion from keepforest, and the Hans Zimmer percussion professional. Those are the collections I’ll always keep around and tend to use more than anything else.

@@bfree45 Thanks for your awesomely detailed reply! I appreciate this info. I have tried Damage 2 and it's great, and some keepforest stuff as well. I've also tried HZP but felt it was too wet and big for my purposes? Maybe i needed to tweak it more. LAMP was the outlier for me and your comments here and review helped me! I might pass on it!
