Irie i Gideon. Give thanks for shining a light on Danny. I pray this video reach him, and he can clearly see how much we love his music... Long time (20 years now??) i rate Danny I. On par with buju, sizzla, perfect, protoje, Jess royal, any of the biggest names. As much as I love those Jamaican superstars, I still find myself listening to VI roots the most often. After Midnite, Danny I gets more spins in our home then anyone else. We love Danny I. The voice. The simple, but simultaneously powerful messages. The melodies, and the great deep roots riddims he chooses…. We all know the music industry is not what it used to be. I pray he never grows weary. As long as I’m still here, i need a new Danny i album at least every few years. Don’t give up Danny. We love your music bredren…. Gideon, I see the works your doing.
