Interesting insight, thank you for sharing! Fun fact: The BMW Police car isn''t actually super resistant. It does look like it due to the blacked out windows but this is because the car doesn't have an interior. Unfortunately there is not enough room for interior AND the siren sound chip so we went for the sound chip :)

Nice reviews, Lee. I know what you mean about the Anglia, I bought one to be a present for my wife, and accidentally rolled it a few times while testing and recording a quick short. It does create some spectacular rolls, but I hope she doesn't notice if there are scratches! I've had my eye on that Multimatic car, I think you've persuaded me now!

I'm an old scalextric user from since being a kid in the 70's but kept up the hobby. that Multimatic Mustang is one of the most unusual cars I have too, the thing that caught my eye was the golden reflection from where the indicator lens is on the front lights, in the dark it looks great and catches your eye as it races around the track. the only thing with the Mustang though is it cannot hold it's own against the other GT4 cars due top the higher centre of gravity due to the higher body of the shell than the other GT spec cars I have, it gets regualry beaten by the Porches and Mercs, AM's and Ferrari's I have in the class. if you are looking for a really quick GT car in Scalextric only, I recommend the Pagani Huayra - its available in 4 colours/liveries, I ordered the purple one from Slot car union which was sent out from Italy, but came with no lights, so I need to fix that, and I have the Gulf liveried one which is lighted and probably my quickest GT car ( I have around 30 newish GT3 & 4 Cars)- this thing flies round and everyone asks me to have a go of it or prefer to choose it when we race.... of course I tell them no.... and it seems to beat every other car I have except my F1 digital cars. I have around 60 to 70 cars in total but some are (about 4) from the 70's & 80's and in need of a service, I probably have about 14 cars from that era still working. great video I've just subbed.

Hey bro, great review and no, it's nothing to do with you - the Harry Potter I got doesn't run like yours, when you belted that first corner I was in total shock you got round it, I go half that speed and de-slotted - for me, it's a shelf queen! The Batmobile is a lot of fun, it's so boisterous like it's footy mad owner 😉For me, it's the old bill car, you can't beat a rozzer car on the track ledge! Nice reviews, looking forward to the next ones!

I love my BMW police car, I put a carrera digital chip in it and use it as my urban pace car :) That 105e needs a bit of lead stuck in the bottom of the chassis pan to lower the centre of gravity and that Stang livery is great. I'm also not big on the Batmobile, or any that isn't the George Barris one, it's my age lol

The Mustang is cool looking .I was thinking of buying a racing livery anglia but a few people reported it handles badly so ile give it a miss 🙂 nice to hear you might have a race buddy 🤗 thanks for sharing mate 👍 at least 50% of the new releases are cool looking .All the best for surgery Lee

Lee, I'm with you 97%. Ha! I agree with everything you said. Except I don't really get off on the American muscle cars. I'd love that police car set as as a pacer. If you were a kid you could pretend you were in the getaway car, with the police chasing you down. I also get frustrated by the negativety towards, Scalextric, and Hornby and Corgi for that matter. Its so difficult for a company to make decent profits in the UK, and I'm 100% on board with attracting the younger kids. The moaners won't be happy till its all gone to cr*p and the hobby is dead.

@@leesslotcars There's two 2nd hand older Scalextric cars on the way to me, via eBay, at the moment. A Triumph TR7 (Doyle) and, a Ford Capri mk III (Bodie). Scalextric seem to have only released a couple of the former model but, several of the latter. I'll be stripping them down, respraying and, detailing them to suit. Figures as well. I've unfortunately not found anything for Cowley.

@@kkumi1782 but the detail is less than on the high level cars, if you want detail look for the magnifying glass icon on the box which signifies higher level detailed cars. that crash sign is the highly resistant versions. you can have both too as a few of the new GT3 cars do have both features.
