How do they compare to The Barons’ War minis form WA scale wise?

They’re almost identical.

@@Dan-ds8sf that’s awesome. May have to get a sprue or two for my Outremer stuff.
@Dan-ds8sf6 ай бұрын
@@lynnhavard3684 Yeah the sword/shield arms on the bodies straight off of the sprue would fit in great, as any anachronisms would only be obvious to actual historians. I think some of those turbaned heads on the WGA Foot Knight bodies would look especially cool.

Scalewise how compatible would those Afghan weapons and heads be with the GW's IG Troopers or GC Neophytes?
@Dan-ds8sf6 ай бұрын
They’d be small, I think they’d look fine alongside models like Cadian Shock troops but the bits won’t be interchangeable.

Wargames Atlantic are 28mm and smaller than most GW minis. They go well with Fireforge, Oathmark, Frostgrave, Perry minis, and even Victrix at a convicted pinch. The new Afghan Cavalry from Wargames Atlant8c are nice minis.

Nice review. These work well with the Afghan cavalry by Wargames Atlantic. I mix and march the Perry parts with these models. Looking for some modern weapons to arm them for modern skirmishes.

Cool idea, and depending on how modern you want to go I think there are lots of weapon options available. Warlord has a sprue of Soviet weapons that would look cool kitbashed with the unit for a host of mid 20th century conflicts. They also have a lot of modern weapons in their Project Z kits, though I haven’t seen any with weapons separated from the body sprues so you can’t get the weapons on their own.

An excellent review

Warning to people. These are quite skinny, even for true scale minis, the heads can be interchangeable with other models but the arms and bodies are quite small
@Dan-ds8sf6 ай бұрын
They’re definitely small compared to Games Workshop models, but I didn’t find them small compared to other historicals. The models at the end are a blend of bodies and bits from this kit, Perry Miniatures, Gripping Beast, and Victrix, and I didn’t notice any glaring scale issues between them.
