Very cute. Creative.. My kids are coming. They are doing a lot of cooking. It's always such fun when we get together. I'm truly blessed, I turned 80 this year. All of my kids are grown with kids of their own... most of my grsnds are grown too. It'll be fun with the ones who live near. My great grands (6) aren't all near. but we video chest. Enjoy your time with your parents. 👍🤗❤ .

Love this project. And I’m very grateful that I have the traditional family Thanksgiving every year. We clear out my parents massive living room and set up 10-12 round tables so everyone has a seat to eat at. And then we say Grace, and we all enjoy dinner and dessert together. Then after we seem to have made it a tradition out of going through all of the Black Friday ads. So much fun and truly so grateful for the time we have together!

A complete project that is very functional and pretty to look at! Of course, we (crafters) always think of something to add the hard way, after everything is put together. The pen holder is the perfect finishing touch. Another way you could add this, use colored elastic, and insert the band through the spine inside to outside through slits. Then cover the spine with a different paper. Or do this before covering the folio. Reverse that, and go from the outside to the inside, using brads to hold the elastic band in place. Would give it a little decorative touch. Great project, thank you for sharing!
