I really enjoy watching you journal, and because you sound so honest you say what comes to mind without hurting anyone else, I just started on doing junk journal and seen others doing their junk journal and I got frustrated because I could not do them nice and petty, but I found you one day and loved our way of doing junk journal and the way you explain it all and your stories you tell so thank you for all of it. I am going through a health condition called fibromyalgia and its not easy so focus and I get a lot of anxiety, plus a lot more that comes with this condition I go through, but watching you really relaxes me. hi sugar, love your videos on junk journal. maybe this will help with your glue problem. i use a push pin with a large end piece. i keep the pin in the opening of the glue bottle and then keep it flipped in a tin can. meaning i washed and removed the label of a green bean can and of course decorated the outside. now when i need my bottle of glue i just pull out the pin and its ready to go. ive never had any problem with the glue leaking out into the container. to help with stability i used some marbles in the bottom of the can. hope this helps.

Thanks so much for this series on creating Junk Journals. You have made it clear and simple with no complications or road blocks. If you don"t have this you can use that and then you name a series of substitute items. Also, I have a lot of Avon jewelry. Pieces that look brand new that I purchased in the 70's. I don't know about their new jewelry but their old must have had a really strong sealer. Again Thanks!

I know this was filmed years ago but it showed up on my YT last night and so glad it did. You are SUCH an inspiration to me. I came across junk journals on YT in 2020 during lock down. I have no artistic ability as in drawing or painting (my "talent" is writing and needle point, crocheting, etc.) but wanted to try my hand at creating a junk journal so I began collecting every envelope from the mail, food packaging, you name it. Also ordered some supplies. I accumulated 2 BIG boxes of junk and....have yet to make a junk journal. I am a procrastinator as well as being on disability for depression and anxiety and didn't want to begin until everything was "perfect" - including first cleaning my house, organizing supplies into containers, etc. I also bullet journal and invested in a Midori passport size travelers set up to use as a wallet. I pulled it out last night (all still unopened) and almost cried when I saw I'd ordered a 2021 monthly calendar for the Midori!!! I must have ordered that early in 2020....arrrrggggh. I threw out the boxes of junk I'd been saving and decided this apparently is not for me. THEN I saw your first video of this series last night. It was so refreshing to see your casual approach - even just tossing things around - and in the end you had a lovely junk journal. Other videos I'd watched seemed so perfect that I thought I had to live up to that. I'm going to take your approach, try not to stress, and make my first journal - soon!!!!! Anxiety+stress+perfectionism = no joy in life!!

Just subscribed! I love how you work -- between just slapping things on and working it out. I like that your life going on through all this, the cats and the wedding. Just because you asked... I think the poison page might need a victorian rose for a goth touch, or a vistorian fountain pen for the poison pen. One real suggestion... when glue is getting almost gone like that put a tiny bit of water in it, shake it good, then squirt a tablespoon or two onto a small dish or jar lid so you can use fingers or a brush. Anyway, I'd love to see more! This is the perfect vid for me to work on my junk journal -- I'm obsessing less which means I'm having more fun!

Love your LMAJJ videos. From you I have learned how to "play" in a journal. If you want to add color to the envelope windows, use alcohol inks. Color is pretty intense, but it gets the job done.

I love it! I've watched every moment of every video so far and I'm even thinking of writing you a letter, now don't think this is routine because I don't think I've written a letter in years! Please continue just as you are with comparisons back to the older journals because it's interesting to see how you've evolved. What I'd like to see, as well, would be windows, openings, folds, etc. I love tunnel books (which I was actually introduced to in a board book of my son's --wish I'd bought a million copies) and anything you could do along those lines would be super fun, not to mention instructional because we have an err, um, *similar* approach... relaxed you might say... They're in Target brand up-and-up finger spray bottles...It might be ink in water or maybe even just food coloring in water (there's no scent haha), maybe if she sees this she can send me a PM and let me know ;) TFW!
