Just add a inch to all measurements I said in the beginning. You'll have to trim overhang but I will get to that in the next video. I had to play around with numbers all day today. I think I have what I need to get the stars right now 😄

Geez...missed another live😩 but watched replay! Tiff, that’s awesome! Lots of great ideas to do with the bonus star!! Gotta tell you, I’ve watched countless videos to make those diamonds & watching you - a light finally went off! No longer feel like a deer in the headlights! Def gonna make this but have to finish 2 other quilts before I can start it. Maybe I’ll sew a few strips together then maybe cut a few...you know. Just to get it started!😜😂🤣

Finishing up t-shirt quilt #6. Using large handkerchefs, red and white union suits, durags and t shirts. Will finish piecing today. Haven't felt well and unable to do them. I have multiple medical problems. Just had a block done for severe abdominal pain. So far its working. Its suppose to snow up to 11 inches here in Northeast Texas, we live about 35 to 40 miles from the Red River. Im 65 years old and I have never seen that much snow here. We rarely have snow, wind chill -17° Monday and 0°. Its crazy weather.

The weather is weird everywhere this year. Stay warm. Also take your time on your project and do what you can when you can. Glad your block is helping so far.

Hobby Lobby sells the tool for around $1.25. I tried it but didn’t feel it was helpful. Faster to do it by hand.
