Let's Make a Mushroom Valentine Shaker Card!

Gorgeous! Love the pink and dark red contrast, all the dimension and refresher tutorial for the shaker! And of course the mushrooms are the bomb! Even your doily has mushrooms shapes in the cut out!

Such a cute valentines shaker card. I love the pink mushrooms and ferns together. The tip about cutting your sentiment swirl stamp in half is one I will probably do as well. I think that little swirl adds so much and I have had sentiments I couldn’t get to fit in the space between so this is a great solution. Thanks for all the inspiration and all the fun ideas for valentines makes!

Was -52 Celcius (-61 Farenheit) if you can imagine! Winter finally showed up with a vengeance but I hope it will be kinder to us for the next few months. Great weather for crafting LOL

Lovely card. I like how you use pattern paper for die cutting. I have so much paper. This is a great way to use it.

What A Nice card! I use for shakercards thin foamtapestrips for the shakerpart. It is A good idea to use layers paper for that, good for my stash of paper 😂. Thank you for the video.

Thanks! I also have used foam tape, but the shaker bits tend to stick to the inner walls of the sticky foam. This way, no sticking. 😊

You might like using Sticky Specs by Ecstasy Crafts for airy embellishments like your ferns rather than glue.

What die cutting machine are you using, please

For large die-cuts, I use my Sizzix Vagabond 2 machine. For the smaller things I use the Empress Mini from Anna Griffin.
