It's funny that people HAVE to say, "Check with your doctor before you take anything herbal." Well, I ask my doctor, and she never knows what the heck I'm talking about. Ashwagandha?? What's that? Oxymel?? What's that?? Guinea Hen tea?? Nope, ...haven't heard of that either. Finally, I just stopped asking for permission to be healthy.
@SpiraeaHerbs Жыл бұрын
That's why I ALWAYS say check with your heath care professional of your choosing. That could be a herbalist, homeopath, ND or doctor. I don't care what you choose! BUT its important to remember that doctors are not trained in this at all. Unless they do extra training, this is not covered in their education. Neither is nutrition. I guess in some ways I am glad that they stay in their lane (hopefully) and just state that they don't know. I know some doctors that (with no education whatsoever) will still tell you not to do it. Like huh??

Best do your own research, most doctors don't approve using natural herbs for treating medical issues. If your well they can't make money off you. Lost of information on KZbin about all Herbs and how to make, what conditions they treat. I like to read the comments as many explain what they used, if it helped or cured their medical issues. This year I have come off 8 prescriptions doing this year. I'm still on 2 prescriptions hopefully not for long. Yes, I make my own Tinctures and use herbs cooking.

Did you ever end up making it? How did you like it?
@beecura7 ай бұрын
This is a really great recipe. Thank you for sharing it. Please be aware that when you heat the honey on the stove or microwave above 40 degrees Celcius it loses all health benefits as all the important active ingredients get destroyed by the heat and you end up with expensive sugar (good quality sugar, but still) The temperature in a hive is around 36 degrees Celcius consistently and as a guide, it is recommended not to heat the honey up above that temperature. 🐝🍯 For the oxymel, would it be easier to combine the apple cider vinegar and honey first and then add herbs or spices?
@SpiraeaHerbs7 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing this with my audience. I was aware of that, but they might not have been. I only ever gently warm honey if its become crystallized and is rock hard. Lol I have always added my herbs to the jar first because I want to ensure I have the appropriate amount. Then I add honey and ACV, but you can definitely experiment with the order you work with the ingredients. Best of luck!

You can absolutely do that. I usually chop it so I cannot speak to the difference in the end product, but that should be totally fine. I personally store mine at room temperature because both honey and ACV can be stored that way. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Hi, I've been watching your videos for a while now. And I'm reaching out to you. Because I have been looking for an herbalist to help me with my weak teeth. My teeth have chipped twice in this past week, and have always been a little foggy. I was wondering what you would recommend me to put on my teeth? Thank you, and love you! ❤️
@SpiraeaHerbs Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately due to strict Health Canada and now KZbin regulations, I am not allowed to make any suggestions outside of a clinical setting. But what I can say is that if you are having trouble with your teeth the first place you should look is at your diet! It sounds like you are navigating some pretty severe mineral deficiencies. If it were me (as I cannot give medical advice) I would definitely start with bloodwork to determine a baseline in terms of nutrients/mineral health and go from there!
@baileydro5627 Жыл бұрын
@@SpiraeaHerbs Thank you for what you can share! I will be looking around to find the root cause. 💖
@SpiraeaHerbs Жыл бұрын
@@baileydro5627 IF it were me, I would also look into homeopathics and tissues salts for remineralization. There are herbal options as well! But hopefully that can direct your research.

What is the difference between doing a ginger tincture or doing it as an oxymel?
@SpiraeaHerbs Жыл бұрын
