Omg Kim, they are delicious, both sides. All I can think of is a beautiful bedspread/quilt/throw. They truly are lovely. Sorry, I was so excited I commented before I had watched the whole video, so this is an edit/add on, you made it look so straight forward, I am in awe, I truly am. Stockings next? Our daughter in law made us all quilted stockings for her first Christmas with us, they are all still going strong, decorating my hall way 🎄 Right, I will stop rabbiting, I just love seasonal decor. Thank you for the extra video 💚

Lovely mats. Although we don't do Christmas, something similar would also be a good idea for standing sewing machines on and would aid moving them around the sewing table, which I have to do to switch from sewing machine to overlocker. I haven't tried quilting but I am sure I can manage a small mat or two.

@@Yorkygirl59 Thanks Diane. I like the sound of that. When I was free-motion stitching my machine was moving around all over the place. Happy sewing ❤️

Kim, those are great. What a pretty design with the curves. I never think of placemats as square but they are exactly the right size for a plate. Your tutorial was very clear and looked easy to follow. Thank you for doing it.

@@stash_stitcher They are very festive. We don't have the hard placemats in the US but I have a set from my years living in England. I just watched Adam Sews and he said he was going to watch your video.

Hi Kim, Thank you so much, these placemats are lovely, I shall be making some of these for my Daughter. Can I ask what wadding you used? Your tutorial was really good. 😊 x

Hi Linda. I've found the name of the wadding. It's Vliesline StylVil. Hope that helps ❤️
