Love that reindeer! So different. You have quite a bit of skill to do these dolls/animals, even more so than clothes, garments...i dont have that skill, my attempts at doll/animal creation usually result in unrecognizable entities! Btw, chatty videos good, esp if under 20 mins.

@@gerrysiebert8639 thanks Gerry. It's nice to break up the garment sewing with other stuff! I think you're right 20 mins videos are better for viewers. Have a lovely sewing week ❤️

@@linvin18All the things Rachel's been making for her granddaughter have been lovely to see. Something different. Christmas always comes around way too quickly. I love Christmas. It's worth all the manic shopping and prep, well nearly. Christmas day comes and I breathe a sigh of relief that I made it! 😂🤣

Hi Kim, I loved the chatty video. You have lots of thoughts if not plans yet. They will come and you can do another batch cutting session. I love doing that too. It would be lovely to see your gorgeous broach on something for the holidays. The bear pattern looks perfect to use lots of the fabrics. I always enjoy seeing your lovely shirts. Do you have any tricks to hide the "white" wrong side of cotton fabric when making a shirt? Is one pattern better than another? I have a nice red print I'd like to make into a shirt but worry about the wrong side showing at the neck. Thought I'd ask. Did you finish your curtain? Happy sewing and good luck with the Christmas shopping!

@@kathymcconville6428 thanks Kathy. I have managed to finish the curtain and it looks lovely in the shower room. Working now on the bear and that's also come together nicely. Desperate to start cutting out new garments though. Let me think about hiding the wrong side of the shirt fabric. I think it's down to fabric choice, but there is probably a way around it. I've been checking out fabric to showcase my brooch. I think I'm running out of time... Work is busy and must take priority, sadly. Happy sewing ❤️

@@stash_stitcher I would love to see the curtain hanging in the room with that beautiful color one day. I can understand why you are so busy with work right now. I do hope you can find a way to wear your broach. Yes, my fabric choice is my problem. I thought maybe there was a shirt pattern that had a facing that extended at the neck to hide the underside somehow. I have both of your favorite shirt patterns but haven't made a shirt in years. I think I'm overthinking it. The solution is usually just to make it. Thanks for your feedback. You are such an inspiration. Hope you find time to sew. ❤

@kathymcconville6428 I'm an over-thinker 😕. I have found my batch-cutting has helped because I can just crack on my cut projects. Happy sewing ❤️

@@kaarenmatthewson8241 hi Karen. I usually make version B. It's very simple and works perfectly for my fussy printed fabrics. The deer is now on the tree and looks adorable. Happy sewing ❤️
