TB-3PO is a rhythm and melody generator for Ornament and Crime. It captures some of the magic of the old-skool TB-303 and puts it in modular format. In this video I explain how it works and how to get some great techno sounds from a small modular setup.
The TB-3PO applet was coded by Logarhythm, and needs to be installed over the firmware you have on your O_C. Don't worry, it's not hard to do! Here's a link to a video I made showing how to install Hemispheres Suite on Ornament and Crime: • Hemispheres for Orname... .
Instead of using the Hemispheres firmware, you need to download the TB-3PO firmware. To download the firmware image go here: github.com/Logarhythm1/O_C-He...

Great video as ever dad! And definitely an awesome use of minimal HP! The only thing I would suggest for this video, probably because I've loved techno since before it was invented, would have been to let the patch run for a few minutes at the end and maybe jam a little on it. Alway love your great instructional videos though.

I love your videos, and this was as great as I always anticipate from you. I can't wait to try this applet. Have you ever considered mounting your modules into the palette upside down then rotating the case? That would effectively put your 1u on the bottom, below your 3u modules, and could get your cables away from your knobs.

For this module layout that would be a good idea with all the 3U items having modulation in their lower sections. Some people don't like the aesthetics of the inverted case though.

Yes, absolutely. The TB3PO firmware contains most of the original Hemispheres applets in it. Just some of the larger apps have been removed to make space for it

so you get around 65000 comibination just from the seed values and i dont even mention the density stuff

Well when I went clubbing in the 90s there would have been plenty of techno going down. So I guess you could say that's what I grew up listening to. My clubbing days are long over now, but I still love a bit of techno to get the day going :)
