can you see if you can make an Object Holding Physics tutorial? yeah sure you can use the hand nodon but i use a pro controller, and plus my joy-cons drift.....(and im kinda not comfortable with it) so i was wondering if you can make it so you press a button of any choice and you can pick up an object (with a distance the cube will be when you pick it up and how close you have to be to pick it up) like a cube, sphere, rectangle, ball....... etc. (im trying to make like a portal-ish game)

I like this one! My trouble with this would be making it looks good. I love the reveal of the letters in order in sm64 Im just wondering how to do that seamlessly. Some people use an extending object to cover the letters and slowly reveal but that might look a little janky

Hey i have a question whats the texture location of the eyes and the whole hat from cappy?

I remember it took me a while. I think it’s a cylinder for the hat sides and top. Then a square connected to the top of the cylinder for the eyes. Then maybe another square for the brim. It’s a whole lot of attaching and experiment and moving textures around

I went to school for computer science and I have some experience in Unity game development So I have an unfair advantage. That’s all part of the process with any game or program making, frustration and trying again! Lol

@@TheGhostInGray in a lot of ways for 2D that game is even more powerful. The problem is when you jump to 3D and add all this custom logic, stuff gets crazy. GBG would really benefit from having a modern interface where you can actually SEE the scene you’re making too. We need a sequel!

Why does this not work is it because the switsch and pc versions are differen4?

It does work! I make them on-video and then immediately publish the share code so if you’re having trouble I would check the game ID and sadly without switch online I would just double check every connection and input/output this one is pretty heavy. There’s no PC version - I connect a mouse to my switch, any usb mouse will work.

A dive would be nice and easy but I can't really imagine how you'd do a crouch especially using the person nodon. A dive could be as simple as a teleport launching you forward at an angle kindof like the boosted cap jump in this video but at a forward 45 degrees.
