I love the distress inks! I make cards too & although I only have a few colors, they really add so much to card projects. Never thought to try it in my journaling so I may try that soon 🤔 You can swatch some of the ink onto an acrylic stamp block, spritz a bit of water, & use a tiny paintbrush to add “sprinkles” over the stencil effect…I suggest that for journal entries as you would have to wait a bit for the droplets to dry. Great video & happy creating!

I make greeting cards and have a nice collection of the distress oxide inks in the mini and bigger size with the containers. I just pull the larger ones up to see the color🤣🤣. I try to organize by colors. There are so many types of inks to use on different types of paper and surfaces. Your videos have inspired me to use in my creative journal also.

Do you prefer the oxides over the regular distress inks?

@@ncpeach73 It depends - if I’m using stencils or using to go around the edge, I like the distress oxides. If I’m using for stamping an image, I like the regular inks because the image is crisper.
