Enjoyed this painting tutorial, i am looking for a good brush set which is the set you used? Bar the citadel ones.

Reaper brand brushes are pretty great for small, standard, and base brushes. I'm actually not sure if they have any dry brushes. Citadel really does have great dry brushes, but if you want to avoid them I can't really give any specific advice for what brand to use. I would just say look for anything that has really thick, long bristles, and somewhat chisel-shaped (wide and flat). Also, look for natural bristles and not plastic bristles. A brand I tend to like that isn't specifically designed for miniatures is Master's Touch. Hope that helps! :)

I was wondering what were the equivalent cidatel colors as I am having difficulty finding the colours in the video. I'm painting the predator/s... I really like your video :) going to attempt the same...

Sorry it took so long to respond, I had to go back and re-watch the video and look up Citadel's colors to cross-check. I'm not super familiar with Citadel's colors, but just eye-balling it, I'd say... -Pure Black - Abaddon Black -Honed Steel - Leadbelcher -Not sure which Citadel brands are gloss... So, for the gloss color sections, you're probably better off checking physical bottles... -Polished Silver - Stormhost Silver -Entrail Pink - Emperor's Children -Also having a hard time finding browns on the website... So I'm not sure what to make of Chestnut Brown or Earth Brown... -Tanned Skin - Kislev Flesh -Tanned Highlight - Eldar Flesh -Antique Gold - Retributer Armour -Leather Brown - Ungor Flesh -Fair Skin - Pallid Wych Flesh Hope that helps! :)

@@ChristopherRidge thanks so much. Yeah I live in Australia and msp paint isn't available but I ordered some paint online from US. Cost me a small fortune... I'm going to use your video to do my miniatures though... I ordered the paint before you replied but that's okay... :)

They're from an AvP Board Game, but I don't know if it's in print anymore... it might be! A couple of friends loaned these minis to me a few years ago. There are multiple sculpts/models.

Are you a predator fan strictly?

@@dragonprototype3883 I'm really more of an Alien fan. Predator is a fun movie, and I'm somehow more forgiving of the first AvP than most people are. And Predators is okay, but I don't care for Predator 2 or AvP2. I never read any of the AvP comics or played any of the video games. But Alien is a masterpiece to me. And I actually really like Prometheus and Alien Covenant. I appreciate Aliens, even if I don't love it as much as some people. And HR Giger was a genius to me. I still like both franchises, though! I have no hard feelings for either one. :)

The new movie Underwater that came out. It's on Hulu, that is a Alien related movie. There is a Easter egg hunt in the movie. I won't spoil it for you, but if your a alien fan, you need to watch.

That's okay! :) You can also use base coats of white, single layers of colors, and a good Shade to get depth. In the case of the Predator, you can probably use Agrax Earthshade (a Citadel brand). Thanks for watching nonetheless! :)
