I dont understand the armor and strength. The strength of the disc was 12 and the armor of the alien u were attacking was 10. Then out of no where u said thats 2 out of 10. What did u mean by that? And why would it modify the armor by 2 if the strength was 12?

Luis Garlic All attacks modify the armor of the defender based on the strength of the attacker. The armor gets reduced for every point of strength above 10 (so strength 12 reduces the defenders armor by 2), so the defender has to roll lower than their modified armor value.

That's a weird way of working it. Would be easier if they just put ap(armour piercing) of the weapon, so the predator wrist blade has a ap of -2 meaning you deduct 2 off the targets armour value. Would be alot clearer.

Luis Garlic strength minus armor is your modification so since the attack is 2 higher it’s minus 2. 10-2 is 8 so 8 armor save

You can still learn to play the second edition using this tutorial, there isn't any real gameplay differences between the 2, just things like types of attacks and damage or roa of attacks
