Love your classes. It would be great if the person filming could talk less so we can hear more from you. It would be nice just talking to your audience. Just thinking out loud. Happy Holidays!

It's highly unlikely that any unfortunate souls living on the farm survived the hideous storm I just painted. Funny how some of the projects that I think will be challenging go beautifully and others, well . . . this was the first time I actually tossed the paper after doing the sky to start again. So I'm not mad about it, but I'm certainly not crazy about it. :)
@LetsMakeArt2 жыл бұрын
Reading your comment made us LOL. Hey, at least you didn't give up and kept going. And like Sarah says, it's just paper. Thanks for painting along with us!!

Your classes must be an absolute joy to attend! There is a professional vocabulary that many other video instructors use, no laughing allowed. I honestly have watched hundreds of pastel,acrylic, oil and finally watercolor (!) and this was so enjoyable! I have my favorites in each media. You’re certainly an amazing instructor.

Thank you! I'm new to watercolor and this was my first try at following a landscape tutorial. It turned out amazing! 1/4 size though. I do "rough drafts." Idk, it just gets me over that fear of starting. Like, oh, this is only a rough draft to get an idea of what I'll really do. Then I can dive right in. Anyway, I love your videos, I think your personality is so encouraging and calming. I really appreciate it. I'm excited to try some more.

Great tutorial, Sarah!! I've not worked with liquid watercolor paint - curious, do you have a preference painting with the liquid paint or the paint in tubes? How different is it? I appreciate your take on it. This was way too FUN!! I saw the greatest perspectives I'd never thought of before. Thanks for your time and creativity. I'll be back watching again!!

I don't have a "wash 1" brush to do this technique, but I have a mop brush that I use for my washes. Will the mop brush work? It's not as crisp edged as the brush that you are showing to use.
