I'm loving the loose projects! Also, I really like being able to see Sarah's other attempts at the project as well. I like to see the different variations of a project, and it helps me keep a healthy perspective. Knowing that she tried out multiple techniques and compositions before reaching her extremely beautiful final choice for her reference photo has helped shift my perspective and expectations for myself. It's easy for me to think that professional artists can see the end result in their mind's eye before getting there, and I think I was subconsciously wondering when I would be able to "see" my final product beforehand so that I could know exactly what to do along the way. It's nice to know that it doesn't work like that, or at least not all the time. Thanks for sharing so much with us, Sarah!

What’s the best color combo for a sage green, like a lambs ear green almost? It is very slightly dusty blue leaning, very slightly. I find myself experimenting every time but need to narrow it down to a recipe. I realize it can vary brand to brand.

So, do you brush off the salt after you dry it?
@LetsMakeArt2 жыл бұрын
Sarah recommends leaving it on because too often it will appear dry but is still wet and so when you brush it off it can end up ruining your painting. If you want to brush off the salt, we recommend waiting for your painting to dry at least 24 hrs before doing so.

HELLO SARA .. WHAT COLOR CAN I PICK ANOTHER COLOR ..I DON'T HAVE ORCHARD
@LetsMakeArt2 жыл бұрын
Hi Karen! Sarah recommends if you have violet, fuchsia, or magenta you can mix those colors together to make an orchid. You can also totally use whatever color you want to personalize your painting and create your own version.
