"Adrax Agatone" No one: Absolutely no one: Random hobbyist: "Did someone say Agrax Earthshade?"

Haha totally! I did a double take when I first saw his name.

I love what you did with the gold pieces on his armor! I didn't even think about casandora yellow, I just used agrax earthshade and it came out pretty good but I will try that yellow wash on the aggressors! Great video!

you are a true son of nocturne :>

Awesome job! Just found this channel whilst looking for miniature painting. I have just pulled the trigger on my first set of Space Marines with the intention of doing Salamanders. Awesome channel and definitely deserves more than 580 Subs. Would you ever consider doing army painting guides? Maybe one of each type of unit as an example? Keep up the great work :)
@WhatThe40k5 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I am glad you have found it to your liking fellow son of Nocturne :) Doing a video like this for each unit in an army range would be a fun (but daunting) task. I definitely could do more guides for the units in my own collection as I work through my backlog if people continue to find them worthwhile.
@lordmaharg5 жыл бұрын
@@WhatThe40k Personally I find painting guides like yours a great help and the main inspiration for upping my painting game. It would definitely be a big task but i think it would be a unique series even if you covered a few example units (Troop/HQ/Heavy Support) for example. But anyway, thanks again for the hard work and great content. Definite subscribe and bell.

I cant decide which army i wanna go between salamanders and imperial fist plus dark angels
@WhatThe40k5 жыл бұрын
That is a tough choice. As much as I would love to have another brother rallying for Nocturne, I believe it is important to build an army you are passionate about. Are you torn for lore/ fluff reasons or more so the game mechanics?
@jacobheller31465 жыл бұрын
@@WhatThe40k well love the way that the salamanders fight cause who dosent love flamethrowers but i like the look of soms imperial fist armys ive seen and dark angels cause ive read some lore and i do enjoy most the deathwing and raven wing seeing them in battle
@WhatThe40k5 жыл бұрын
Right, so imo.... since hobby time is the laborious part of building your army, I think its wise to go with what you find will be the most visually pleasing/rewarding. I find most factions have great stuff to like if you look for it.

At the time of this video's release, it was literally the cheapest airbrush I could find on amazon. But earlier this year I switched to the badger patriot 105.

Is there a list of paints somewhere?
@WhatThe40k2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately no. When I made this video I didn't create a master list of all paints, instead listing the paints per step.😅

Do you have to use primer or is it optional?
@WhatThe40k Жыл бұрын
Primer is essential for most models as it allows the pigment to 'bite' onto the plastic surface.

@@WhatThe40k ok. Just curious. I'm new to the hobby and I feel dumb when I see someone finish a nice model in 13 minutes. While I'm over spending all night to make 70% of one model look nice.

Honestly almost all the lrimaris models are done excellently. I think its a shame that they get so much hate, because the models really don't deserve it imo
