As a beginner, I'm still intimidated by other youtube tutorials. After procrastinating all day, I was like, let's just do the Sara Cray tutorials until the other ones are less scary. Then I logged on and found this. For whatever reason, because you give a lesson in each tutorial I am less terrified. It's like I'm tricking myself by saying, ok who cares how the project turns out, we're learning to change value by hue right now. (Wait, is a sunset a change by hue? Do I even know what I'm learning? Doesn't matter. I get to paint SHARKS!)

Hi You have NO idea how long I have waited to find the information and method of teaching that I wanted and needed for a tutorial like this. Have found similar tutorials but for some reason this one has put everything together that I have learned from others in the past. Thank You so much for the June 2022 tutorials. I love the way you encourage everyone to try water color and how you showed us not to give up on a painting but just go with it and make it our own . I am usually a oil color painter and just trying some new techniques with other medias . You make it fun . Thank you for sharing with us .

Sarah go off! I started taking my first art classes at 33 scared to death but finally realizing that painting or drawing is a skill that needs to be learned, practiced, and fostered. Low and behold I'm still a beginner but I'm getting better and better at something I thought I could never do bc I don't have "it."
