I don't think Agni is actually a mistranslation. Agni and Rudra are both Vedic deities, so I strongly suspect that Woosley just grabbed some arbitrary mythological references that fit the character limit rather than even attempting to translate the original names.

Show some love for Mogu and let's see him in action! Also, show off the pre-ultimate dragon spell Rudra, please? (Bonus fact: Agni and Rudra are those two guys you fight in Devil May Cry 3.)

(6:48) At first I thought M.Slime would stand for the obvious Metal Slime. But then, I tried looking for it, and encountered one after just a few fights with regular Slimes there, and now I think M.Slime might stand for Monster Slime! (7:32) In case anyone's wondering, in that room, the upper-left chest's trap is Fire (50 damage to the leader), the center chest's trap is Curse (curses the leader), and the upper-right chest's trap is Boom (KOs the leader).

The point to using Mogu is as follows:When Puka's transformation is active, Mogu has the highest physical attack power of the people remaining to use. As such, he could be used the way HCBailey was using Ox earlier in the game, benching Nina and only bringing her in when her healing was actually needed.

I believe the ACTUAL name for Rudra was Kaiser, much like the dragon that will be showing up in later Breath of Fire.

I... Like Mogu as a character, rather than a party member, personally. He was developed a bit more in depth than the other characters, having his mind delved into and his thoughts and feelings exposed as you helped him defeat the monster in his dreams. I'm sure somebody out there could use him effectively. I certainly can't. x3

It should be possible to get more money from the pervert in Auria with adult Nina. The 'flag' that says he already gave you money should be reset when she's an adult.

I like Mogu, when I used him he was a good physical fighter and was able to hold his own with minimal healing when I kept his equipment up-to-snuff.

It became sort of Ultimate in the next game (In which Infinity was still there, but was plot only), and Ultimate in the 3 and 4.

I said it before, but I really like Mogu, honestly. With EarthRB and MystCW he absorbs all elements and his attack gets pretty righteous pretty fast, plus sometimes he can double-hit. You could dump Bleu for Mogu pretty easily.

I think Agni in the original translation was just called the ultimate power or something to that effect and I'm pretty sure the final dragon spell retroactively is dubbed Infinity by most fans. Rudra was called the Kaiser dragon in the oroginal translation.

When I first played this game, I had no idea you needed Karn unfused to use Agni, so I never got to use it. I always thought it was something you could only use at a specific point and nowhere else. Luckily, I subsequently found GameFaqs

I'd grind, HCBailly. I played this game last year and those enemies in Scande and beyond are brutal. I think I was level 39 by the time I was in Scande. I think I was your level by the time I got the battle theme change. That was due to grinding in Krypt though. It was also due to me never using Marbl3s. It'll also allow you to show off Nina's higher level spells.

Agni is actually the Kaiser. As HCB mentioned, Agni is a mistranslation from Infinity, which is the Kaiser.

Agni being called 'Infinty' makes sense, considering what happens in the second game. Though how the spell works in both games might be a little confusing.

The letter sequence you're thinking of is probably FFVI, in Mobliz (where you get the Tintinabar for your efforts).

Seconding that. Although RnH acrtually might be a bit "hard" to LP, due to the fact, that power progesssion of the party is dependant on the player and not on the equipment (actually it is, but if you know the really powerful spells from the start, you can very easily breeze through everything). I still would have hoped Squaresoft translated this little gem and released it outside Japan, although AGTP did really good work to remake/translate the spell system for anyone who cannot read katakana.

(16:10) Umm... When I went to reequip Ryu with his usual accessories after fishing for the DragonSH earlier, the Shell had vanished from his equipment, and it wasn't in my inventory either. Is it possible for the fishing "bait" to randomly disappear after you fish or something?

Agni is probably one of the bad things about this game, it makes the last few bosses a cake-walk as you're just spamming the same attack over and over again with little strategy involved, it just breaks the game when you use it.
