I love the way this guy explains the game. In other Lets plays it's often two people who know the rules inside out doing what they do with little regard for the audience. This guy really explains what's going on. Helpful for no nothings like me.

The Panzer III served through the whole war as well, but the Pz.IV was the only german tank to see PRODUCTION throughout the entire war. Never stopped making them, and eventually started churning out Stugs built from Pz.IV hulls as well

The young guy was talked into setting up his machinegun in line of sight instead of the building to his left where he could have still shot the same squad he shot and would be out of direct fire from that panzer 4. The French tank could have set still and shot main gun and machinegun. then he could have brought in the first sgt to get the machinegun to fire again. He could have slaughters that squad hiding behind the building.

cerealkiller195, welcome to the historical gaming world! Beware it’s addictive. Suddenly you may notice a paradox: unlike scifi/fantasy gaming, which is limited and closed, you enter into a world that is open and almost limitless in scope.

Always love Chain of Command let's plays. Finally Rich put a stop to the Beastsofwar juggernaut. Hopefully next time Rich beats Justin. One thing though. And correct me of I am wrong. According to the rulebook a (mmg) team can only provide covering fire when activated by a leader (roll of 3 or 4) not by a roll of 1. Rich does this a couple of times. Maybe a Blitzkrieg special rule?
@nheather5 жыл бұрын
Not sure if the rules were being played correctly but if they were there is one thing that doesn’t seem right to me. It was where the MMG was firing suppression at the house forcing the defenders to keep their heads down reducing their ability to fire back. But the squad was also firing to kill on the suppressed team - in reality they would have nothing to shoot out as the target would be cowering out of sight.
@aricliljegren8903 жыл бұрын
Brilliant demo game. Keep them coming - they are an inspiration. I did not understand why the British kept charging the Germans, and feel either standing their ground (forcing the Germans to attack) or even gradually pulling back (buying time) would have been a better strategy - but that French tank was amazing so, “Vive la France”

The roads are from Early War Miniatures and are flexible latex cobbled roads. The buildings were largely private commissions from a company called Rapier Miniatures. The fences and walls I grabbed off eBay. No idea who makes them.

With BOW, could you please do bat reps for; Charlie Don't Surf, I Ain't Been Shot Mum and Through Mud and Blood (WW1 skirmish rules)!!! Other people have been requesting as well and it would be a great opportunity to show case these rules through BOW, where the rules will get a bigger exposure, plus there aren't really any videos of them on YT! The British and Germans are Crusader Miniatures, the R35 and Panzer IV are Warlord Games. Some of the older equipped Germans like the ones with the MG08/15and the MGO8 are WWI figures with WWII heads added and WWII kit from plastic Warlord Games figures.
