I don't know if anyone told you this, Quill, but citadels actually add science, production, and 1 food to a tile in this mod. Generals are actually worth just throwing down for the tile itself.

Hey Quill, just so you know in the Future, GNP = Gold Net Profit :) so in Civ land terms it mean the person whos making the most Gold :)

In actuality it means Gross National Product, though it could be different civ-wise

Because the island they're calling Sicily is too close to another city, place a city on the closest to the tip of the boot you can and call it Palermo, or Syracuse.Also: Monaco is where Milan should be, the ring of mountains just north of it can be legitly construed as the border between Italy and France. Nice is on the river just to the left of the mountains, on the left side I believe..

It is roughly were Marseilles is, but the Roman name for that city was Masillia, I think that would be more appropriate. I'd suggest a Roman name for Venice as well, but in Roman times Venice was a backwater fishing village.

***** There were some Greek settlements in the area, yes. But it was incorporated and expended upon but the Republic, and was in many respects the "hub" of Gaul in the time of Julius Caesar. And yeah, a Latin name for the city of Venice would be something like Venetia. But I was more saying I didn't know what that area in general was called by the Romans, as there was no "Venice".

How are you doing the locking thing? What does that do?

When you select a city, there's a drop-down option at the top right called Citizen Management. This allows you to "lock" tiles and also see the ones your citizens are working. The tiles with little heads over them are being worked by the city, so they are obtaining whatever yields that tile gives (for example, the Wine tile right next to Rome is worth 3 food). Locking those tiles means that the AI will not unwork that tile in favor of another tile on accident, because you can only work as many tiles as you have citizens.
