You know I watch GOT, but I really agree with Ryan. Not everything has to be a happy dream land, but that show just gets depressing after awhile. Also, good art usually needs good characters that you get invested in and root for. If you know everyone in that show has the life expectancy of a may fly, you really don't want to get attached to them or root for them. It just becomes a series of emotional gut punches if you like any character. At this point the show seems like it's murdering purely for shock value.
