For the most part I really do like Freddy, he's fairly straightforward, but his dream mechanisms have a nice touch of complexity to keep things tense. On the other hand, I would like to see something bringing out the gimmicks of Freddie's dream control somehow, like in example, perhaps the entity brings down Freddie's claws instead of just freaky demon spider limbs, or when you are asleep, there are occasional glimpses of Freddie's face in the fog to freak players off balance.

i feel like the editors really do a good job on this game. theres a bunch of downtime in which nothing happens for a given player but the videos always manage to capture the action wherever it is. as all their videos are, but i just feel like the editors have to be on their A game to make these videos as good as they are

Seems like they shouldve made it so that when Freddy puts you to sleep, your body goes to sleep on the ground and you spawn a certain distance away from Freddy as a dream version of yourself. He can always see you and the only way to to wake up is for you or a teammate to go to your body and do a skill check, at which point you teleport back to your body and wake up.

Well since I haven't seen any comments on helping them. To get yourself out of sleep mode you need to fail a skill check. Both healing and working on a generator. The shock/injure will wake you up. +yes I know they find out the gen I'm just saying both gen and self heal will do the same. Just hoping the information will get to them so they can play this game maybe to git gud

He's not. Unlike every other killer he can't hit you until he even gets you asleep. Seeing you through the walls while asleep is real strong but you can wake yourself by failing a generator or just another player. He's just unique enough that if you don't know how to counter him he's really strong.

I haven't played against him since he got nerfed, but before then, he was really strong and it got to the point where teams of survivors would just leave the match once finding out that it was a Freddy game, which got really infuriating.

Just so u guys know, u can hold m1 when u attack with any killer to make it so the lunge goes much further, in order to stop them from going through windows and pallets. Makes it a lot easier for the killer.

General info for anyone new to DBD. IT takes 7 seconds base for Freddy to fully sleep you, this gives you enough time to get to a pallet. On the subject of pallets, Freddy is the weakest killer in regards to pallet loops you can literally pallet loop him for the entire match if you're good enough. People can wake you up but you can wake yourself up by failing any skill check

Having never played DBD myself, some thoughts on watching this: It seemed like Freddy was really good at the very beginning, with all of the powers he had. The moment Michael realized he could wake himself up, though, Freddy seemed unwinnable. If you can get away from him, it seems really easy to wake up and go back to what you were doing. Meanwhile, everyone else is working on the objectives.

Alex Smith yep, that's Freddy's big Weakness, and why he's a weak killer. then you realize that people complained and he actually got NERFED a week after release, making him even worse. he just requires a completely different playstyle. I'm proud of getting a 4k on the swamp with Needed Freddy, with the bug on his sleep that made him easily the worst killer in the game

Alex Smith he’s extremely weak right now because they nerfed him but with lower ranked people he’s pretty strong. You just have to change up your playstyle and you can get away pretty easily, and a lot of lower ranked ppl dont do that bc well they just started playing. He has some heavy as footsteps and disturbs the grass he walks on so if you have a good set of ears on you, you can tell where he’s walking. Also, failing about any skill check wakes you up as well. Yeah and tbh learning how to micromanage a game as killer is super important, they don’t know how to do that well but that’s what practice is for.
