3:44 Liu Bei? I wonder if they are related to Liu Kang!

So, what can I say about today's episode in relation to the novel? 3:31 YOUR revenge? You're the one who got Pang Tong killed. 3:37 This is the same party as last time. 12:24 This bit with the bridge seems to be very loosely based on a battle at Gold Goose Bridge. Zhuge Liang orchestrates an ambush using Huang Zhong, Wei Yan, Zhang Fei, and Zhao Yun to capture Zhang Ren, using himself as bait. Zhang Ren is captured alive and brought to Liu Bei, who's so impressed with his reputation for loyalty and courage he asks for his surrender. _Eyes glaring, Zhang Ren shouted back, "No loyal vassal serves a second lord!"_ _"You fail to recognize how times have changed," Liu Bei went on. "Submit and save your life."_ _"I might for today," Ren replied. "But not for long! Kill me quickly!"_ _Liu Bei could not bear to give the order, but Zhang Ren continued to denounce him. Finally Zhuge Liang had him executed to preserve his reputation for loyalty._

To me, the nerf *WanFu* got, actually was a _good_ and _necessary_ change. Sure, you can't heal yourself fully, but neither can the enemy! Even *the mightiest of enemy tacticians* can now only heal themselves up to _slightly more than half of their maximum amount_ of soldiers, so the whole _"getting a heart attack from wanting to finish a certain officer off, only for him to go first and fully heals himself with WanFu, severely wasting your time and resources"_ scenario isn't as *brutally nasty* _at all_ in this game, like it *certainly* was with the predecessor. At least with how the enemies and their WanFu work now, all you're losing if one pulls that off (while being halfway done on soldiers), are your time (though, not as much), plus one and a half single-target *HouShen* hits worth of damage, at best. That really isn't _that_ much, considering that in the first game, you need is *A LOT* of HouShen hits to take out one officer with *25000+* soldiers without a *BeiJi* boost. *More TP eating, naturally!* But, in this game, you need tops *three* single-target HouShen hits to take out *any* officer, and *it doesn't matter* who that officer is! Obviously, the outcome due to the removal of the fifth digit for soldier counts in this game. Whoever at *Capcom* that decided to make these change to WanFu, I hope that person got *big time* promoted. Also, *Doomsday Scroll* should be called *Earth Scroll* for consistency's sake. It's not like the game is permitted from saying *EARTH* as it *did* say _"As the gods of Heaven and Earth gaze upon us..."_ once before...

Hilarious how a scroll called "Doomsday" was just lying around. Would really hate to be the scrub who dropped that.

I've been reading Romance of the Three Kingdoms for the last couple weeks and its hard to keep all the characters straight but almost any Liu in the book is explicitly related to Liu Bei.
