Grimm's battle-copters are probably his best unit. The defense penalty is not as big of an issue with them; as most things that can do any real damage to them would have more or less the same result regardless of the defense penalty. I would say he has 2nd best BC in the game behind Sensei. Sensei with his massive 50% fire power boost, has the best BC. Yes, Eagle and Kanbei will have an edge on him in a BC engagement as their firepower boost is just enough to one shot Grimm's BC, but against everyone else Grimm's firepower advantage is better than Eagle's defense boost. Eagle and Grimm both die in 1 hit to AA, and another BC engaging them first will still wreck them regardless. Kanbei on the other hand actually can survive an AA hit, which is kind of crazy. Kanbei can also get his BC attacked first by Eagle and still come out ahead in the engagement depending on the rolls. However against everything else the firepower is what matters most for BC in my opinion. Most people have to tech up when a medium or neo tank hits the field. Grimm just has to clear a path for 2 BCs to take the shot at it. For BC in my opinion Sensei>Grimm>=Kanbei>Eagle.

So apparently AWBW uses Kanbei's +30/+30 Atk/Def from AW2. I was assuming they were using his still OP +20/+20 from the other games. Which means he has better BC than Grimm.

Great game! Not sure what to say about it, strong economic advantage and great trades paid through; and I'm never quite sure what to make of Rachel, her super is either spectacular or makes surprisingly little difference. The thing that gets me is how low the unit count gets in these types of games. From 22 and 31 to 11 and 15 respectfully, unit counts just plummet when the hands are thrown, and I always find it interesting just how many layers to Grimguys defences there were.

Im bad at advance war but I love how Grimguy kinda turtle and retreat to force a constant brawl that the opponent wall out actually loose because said opponent is too deep to wall and then it become just a pummeling match exept Grimm has a 130% firepower boost with his spower I think the best way to beat Grim guy is actually to stall yourself and not attack him, his unit are so fragile your counter attack will probably decimate his main force

Yes there's an argument to be made that Grimm plays more favorably against the T3 CO's. That being said, Grimm Guy has proven multiple times that he simply does not care about movement CO's. He simply locks them into close-range brawls where their extra mobility counts for nothing.

Watching Grimm Guy, I kinda agree with him; I'm not sure Grimm is really a T4 CO. Granted, probably takes a high level player to do well with him. But Grimm Guy performs remarkably well, and consistently. Grimm might be T3; hard to use one, but T3.

Covering fire is devastating. After taking it, your 7 HP infantry can no longer wall against normal tanks. Then again for Grimm, I think they already died to tanks anyways, and the difference between a 10 HP infantry getting one shotted vs the same infantry eating a missile and then getting one shoted doesn't matter too much. And if the 7 HP infantry doesn't get attacked, with the firepower bonus it's still dangerous to other infantry.

Typing this before watching, rachel is probably a bad matchup for grimm, her super's chip damage doesn't make a difference because grimm's units die in one hit anyways so it's like playing as a co without a super, and the sco power already makes her feel like a co without a normal (luck damage would have the same problem)

Okay, Grimm Guy glazing aside (which I will always do) Panas' strikes were NASTY. His offense was devastating, it was just that Grimm Guy possesses a mastery of slugfests, and with that, the knowledge of how to TAKE beatings and keep striking properly (Not cowering when you should attack, and not rushing when you should defend). I want more Grimm Guy games, but I have to check out more of Panas/Maestro whatever he calls himself. Both these dudes just put HORSESHOES in their gloves and just swung at each other.
