Let's play Eye of the Beholder - Amiga - Unboxing, Level 1: Sewers [Real Hardware/CRT Capture] #1

A first person AD&D Role Playing Game developed by Westwood and published by SSI in 1990 for PCs. The Amiga version was released in 1991. This video features unboxing, a review and CRT capture of the game running on a real Amiga 500.
It is heavily influenced by the legendary Dungeon Master but sports far better graphics, nice sound effects and music, as well as interaction with friendly NPCs whom you can recruit.
Gameplay is excellent, the game is quite immersive and the Amiga version is really great.
If memory serves I managed to get as far as a green level back in the day, but hopefully I'll finish it this time!
In the first part of this playthrough I play the first Sewers' level.

The best game on the AMIGA 500. Have 2 of them in mint complete state and must get Eye of the Beholder 2. Like also the AGA remake version on my AMIGA 1200.

@@MrComputerRetro Επίσης και πολλά προγράμματα ήθελα 1ΜΒ όπως το Animation station, ήθελα να σε ρωτήσω κάτι ξέρεις εάν υπάρχει κάποιος σύλλογος κατόχων commodore amiga 500 στην Αθήνα; Θα ήθελα να συναντηθώ με κόσμο που έχει amiga να μιλήσουμε να θυμηθούμε τα παλιά ,να μιλήσουμε για παιχνίδια και προγράμματα, κλπ. Επίσης έχω συλλογή με πρωτότυπα παιχνίδια και προγράμματα της amiga.

Υπήρχε παλιά ο Σύλλογος Φίλων της Amiga και το Amiga Hellas όπου κάναμε συναντήσεις, κυρίως την εποχή του IRC. Πλέον δεν τα παρακολουθώ πολύ, αλλά χρήστες υπάρχουν στην Αθήνα και γίνεται μια συγκέντρωση μια φορά ανά 1-2 χρόνια που λέγεται Amicamp, αν και δεν έχω πάει. Ρίξε και μια ματιά στο ΦΒ για ελληνικές ομάδες Amiga.

I vaguely remember playing this on my Amiga 500. While impressive for the time, I wasn't sold on the slowish action. Thank you for the memories, I wish I had my Amiga up and running again on a tiny desk next to my work machine.🥲
