It's just the lighter colour because the textures in the map are different to most other maps. If you going on say west bridge hills it will be a lighter colour and when you mow it will go the colour of the grass that you turned on this map! Hope this helps

Basically the reason you can't wrap it is because you didn't Tedder the grass before. The grass that u bailed to the game is automatically silage as you haven't Teddered it therefore you can't wrap it as the wrapper sees it as silage already. If you Teddered it before you would have been able to wrap it. So my suggestion would be to bale the other half the field then to wrap it. Doing this will mean you still get silage bales that can be wrapped and that you can still to the much wanted time laps of wrapping! Hope this helps

I have a big M500 mod and I wrapped silage bales just yesterday on Iron Horse Farm with the same bale wrapper. Because the map you are on has custom grass it is possible the game is treating the grass differently than it would standard grass.

That might make a difference too. www.modhoster.com/mods/neue-ballentypen-furs-pressen-hinzufugen I was playing the California Central Valley map last week, and it had custom grass, and it would not let me bale directly from mowing with even with a modded baler. I ended up having to tedder the grass and then bale it.

+Daggerwin Ok, I just tested my setup on Court Farms... same field, baling directly from mowing and the wrapper worked fine. So it is either the add fill types mod, or the Kuhn baler that is causing the issue.

Hi, the problem with the bales going to be wrapped happed a while ago for me and the bales say its silage in the feed mixer and also the amount of silage doesn't go down so I can only feed mixed ration to them now, the patch update was really the issue.

when using the big m baler make sure the size is set correctly the larger sized ones aren't recognised by the silage wrapper

You could use the placeble feed mixer mod at the diary. Then you can use the bales you put there as grass. You will need some straw and silage to make mixed ration. You can then feed your animals with a loading wagon. You can also use a loading wagon to fill the mixing station. It is a great way to make a lot of mixed ration. And thus you can feed a lot of animals at the same time!

They only cut the headlands when there is a possibility of the grass getting wet as the less grass there is the more it will photosynthesise and grow. Also it means when you make hay it can spread out more. Which drys it quicker. Ben

Nothing wrong with the baler itself, it's just that wrapper that won't accept "non-teddered" bales. I've tried it with four different balers (in-game NH 150, Kuhn, Fusion 2 and 3) and it won't accept any non-teddered bales.

I have the same problem with this. I have baler add grass mod, thats allow to bale grass, but wrapper do not recognize this type of bales. I think this have to do something with later game updates because it worked fine before.

If you have the multifruit mod in your mods folder you have to ted the grass or you will get a silage bale even though it has no wrap.

There's a problem with the baleraddgrass mod. Those bales are unwrapped silage bales. I had this problem yesterday, I couldn't wrap my grass bales, and checked the vehicle.xml to see what they were, and it said silage. I picked them up with the Marshall modded trailer as mixed bales, as you did, and they sold for £6,000+ apiece, so the game knew they were silage. I don't know if you could use them for TMR. I was making silage bales to sell anyway, so I didn't mind, but it was confusing. Then I remembered this video.

Great video daggerwin. I think the wrapper didn't work coz its from base game and it expects you to wrap hay bales to get silage bales. Where's you bailed straight grass (think that's a mod you have) and base game doesn't support that try wrapping your hay bales when you produce them. That should work. 😃
