hi I am a farmers son. We have an elevator (you call it a conveyor). we use it for grain and conventional bales. They have their own electrical motor which is powered by a normal mains socket and plug. They are not powered by pto or any hydraulics from the tractor. for lifting the arms they ushally have manual hydraulic rams, which you pump your self with a lever however the one in the game is probably fingertip control or electrics! They are designed for trailers, not loaders but if a bigger hopper was attached to the bottom, a loader could then be used! You would not be able to power an elevator/conveyer in a field unless you had a generator (with plenty of fuel with it!). Hope my input helps - Tom :-)

Put the conveyer next to a heap and then add the sugar beet to the heap. At 12:10 you can see some is added to the heap when you tip and these are loaded into the lorry, causing the heap to shrink.

Euan, indicators are a PC function. You can't use signal indicators or turn on/off vehicles or idle vehicles in console games at least as of yet. Maybe we will be able to in the spring 2016 update. Just wishful thought on my part, lol.

There is a conveyor mod that attaches to a front loader arm. The advantage of that is that you can easily adjust it's position, as the heap get smaller. So the conveyor doesn't run out. Like this stationary one.

Prices refresh on every full hour (xxh 00m). So always try to sell as much as you can from xxh 00m to xxh 59m. Once I've managed to sell ~2 million liters of Canola in one hour and when the price refreshed it tumbled down from ~1400 to around ~230. So better watch out for that! ;)

On the Mahru conveyor, you can attach to both ends. Unhitch, move to the side under the belt and reattach. You can then move the conveyor to each pile. Disconnect, move the tractor. repeat. (Or, leave the tractor attached and swing the belt away far enough to get a tipper under.

Sugar beet is actually one of the most profitable crops in the game. You can make between 25-30 grand per hectare. Almost 3 times as much as canola

Daggerwin, Great video as always, but sometimes i wish you could do a live stream, (i know you can't coz of your stupidly low internet speed, which i hope you aren't paying full price for btw), coz sometimes you do miss some really obvious things! At one point, 16.47, you even jumped over the drawbar at the other end of the conveyer which you can attach to and reverse into the piles, and also at 18.03, the drawbar was even trying to show you itself by raising and lowering as if to say "i'm right here"!!!!! Keep up the good work and hope to see you in multiplayer after Xmas when i will have computer up and running again :)

Oh Yes, I got this conveyor in the CHURN 2015 map based on the welsh hills farm and it is a good conveyor which you unfold and rise or lower and the top one turns left or right. However even though you can attach from the front or back, You must make sure it is inside the heap or pile to work well? There is a handy light beam that shows you where the end of the top of the conveyor is so that is nice! And another good point is that although you think that the tractor needs to power it? It works without one doing so? :)

You should have made one big heap, back the conveyor up to it, positioned the lorry under it, and it'll just keep going until the heap is gone or the trailer fills up. Would have made your life much easier :) that's a great conveyor mod tho

If u detach the trailer conveyor when it's raised you can go underneath the conveyor and Attach under there and reverse to the Pile

The old version of that conveyor had 2 hookup points one to pull it and another that was under the conveyor so you could back it up to a pile with out getting the tractor stuck.

Some bale wrappers don't need a tractor to power them because they have a small engine on them (called a donkey I think) So maybe its the same with some conveyors?

+Daggerwin That conveyor has two hitches. The second one is on the back below the conveyor. But, it only shows up when the front is unhooked. If you hook the tractor up to the back, you can then angle the top part to the side in an " L " shape and then drive the lorry parallel to the tractor to fill it. Then when the conveyor stops, just drive the tractor to push the conveyor closer to the pile. What I usually do is once I have the conveyor all of the way up and the top part to the side, I move the tractor to the back and hook it up to the front of the tractor, then when it gets too far from the pile, all I have to do it drive the tractor forward to push the conveyor closer to the pile. But, it's a little hard to control from the back of the conveyor.

So now you're shoveling it onto the conveyor instead of straight into the trailer? Hm.... On average Corn pays ~25% more than Beet per ton, but Beet has x2.9 times the yield of Corn. Same with Wheat. And although Canola pays ~150% more on average per ton that's x2.5 more than Beet. Beet has x5.8 times the yield of Canola. So I guess that "beets" all of them by a long way. But Potato even betters Beet too with a 14% higher yield than Beet and Beet "only" pays 10% more than Potatos. So the top 3 money makers I guess are: Silage, Potato and Beet. Beside logging of course. And if you set up courseplay or use the in game hired workers, you only need the harvester(s) and the trailer(s) for beet too. Just like the other fruits.

You'd have to drive to the local weigh bridge. A lot of larger estate farms actually have their own. I was loading straw lorries this year during the harvest and every lorry had to go to the local weigh bridge before and after loading
