I know this video is (practically) a million years old at this point, but it makes me really want to see a Let's Play series with these two playing high-stakes roguelike games - FTL included. Ah, the repeated mistake of leaving the pilot's seat! If there's nobody piloting, the ship has an evasion chance of 0% - meaning, every single shot the enemy makes is an automatic hit. You must ALWAYS keep a pilot in - even if you improve the piloting subsystem, never leave the pilot's seat if there's an enemy ship around.

I haven't played ftl for awhile but I thought the doors locked if you had a crew member in the doors room. Easy way to asphyxiate the invaders.

Brass Tacks correct, if you upgrade the door room or assign a crew member to it, the doors become harder to break. So now you can trap the invaders in a room for a longer time and choke them to death :D

There is something that's been bothering me for a while now about your channel, sound is very low on all videos. It's so low that when the advertisement comes on it wakes the dead.
