5min in you drew a rule that allows you to discard hand if not enpty handed and draw 3. so on your turn you drew 1. you could have immediately discarded and drawn 3. not sure it helped much. but was an option

She had no cards left in her hand, due to Play All Plus 1, so she could not use Get On With It (which can only be used if you have a hand to discard). I do wish she had kept her hand out, open face on the table so we could more easily see that. She did have the Child Bonus in play before that, which would have let her play an extra card if she wanted, but I guess she didn't want to.

@alisonfrane6758 i might be missing something specific to that fluxx , but get on with it generally says before your final play . So we've always played that as interrupting play all. so the moment she draws 1. she can choose get on with it. discard . draw three then turn over .

@@cgarvie151 Oop! You're absolutely right. She could have chosen to discard the one card she drew. Most people forget that that's an option, and just play it. I do wish she'd keep her hand in view for the video.

It seems like A Bear of Little Brain / Very Little Brain would be one of the cards marked for removal when playing Solo Fluxx. Otherwise, since you're the only player, you have to discard all of the cards in your hand but 1 (whether you have Winnie-the-Pooh to play or not). [Also, note that the Solo Fluxx rules for Hundred-Acre-Wood lists Shuffle Hands as a card to remove - an Action that isn't actually in the deck.]

Oh, also - when you won with Christopher Robin to the Rescue, you discarded two of the Keepers - shouldn't you have discarded the Christopher Robin Keeper as well? Or is that a special Solo rule I'm not aware of?
@JenCamPlaysBoardGames4 ай бұрын
Yeah, Very Little Brain is a little weird for sure. I think that it still applies to a solo game making the player either have to play the card, or lose and it discard down. Just like The Flood, for example, makes you discard a bunch of keepers. Not all actions are good.

@@HueyMakt Yes, she should have also discarded Christopher Robin as well. And it looks like she forgot to discard her second Goal when Double Agenda went away.

hand limit 3, doesn't replace keeper limit 4. unless that's a solo rule ?
@alisonfrane67585 күн бұрын
Yes, it's a Solo rule. There is one "slot" for Draw Rules, one "slot" for Play Rules - that's the same as the regular game. However, Solo rules call for only two other "slots": one for Limit Rules so they replace each other, and one for "all other kinds of Rules" which is why those are also replacing each other. - Alison: Looney Labs Question Answerer, First Class.

I didn't realize that Fluxx could be played solo! Do the solo rules now come with the decks, or is it only available as a download?
@JenCamPlaysBoardGames4 ай бұрын
This deck had the solo rules included, but older decks that I have do not. Say, for instance, you are playing Camping Fluxx while out camping, it is pretty easy to tell what cards to remove though.

I know, right?!?! lol I did acknowledge that with the caption. Not sure what I was thinking there. Especially after commenting about how I wouldn't want to use that card 10 seconds before 🤣
