Are those machine guns or cannons your plane is equipped with?

Both. A pair of 20mm Type 99-1 and a pair of 7.7mm Type 97.

Raude "Axe" Mannevond Ah, I suppose that's a decent amount of firepower. (Still well below what can be found on the spitfires or typhoons in use at that time.)

I know this is an old video and if you will see this comment but I love this series. I have the game but I haven't played it yet. Your series makes me want to play but I see all the controls that I have to remember and that keeps me from playing. Do you have the controls setup in a specific way for better memory?

Sorry for getting back to you this late. What I usually do is I picture a logical set up, usually using combination of keyboard and the joystick. Keys that I'll use a lot, I'll put on the joystick, others that aren't needed quickly, I'll place on the keyboard. Then I start flying to see if I'm missing anything and if it so happens I keep miss-clicking, I'll then switch that keys place with the one I think I'm pressing when I'm actually miss-clicking. Hope that clarifies a little.
