Oh man, you chose CHAOS this episode! xD Love it though! It's great seeing how this game works, both with nice, happy gameplay and with the drama! I've been a bit hesitant about the game and although I have a good PC, I'm still not entirely sure it could even run it. However, your videos make me so curious to try it out for myself when it becomes available! I definitely agree with you that the interactions and consequences, etc, need some tweaking. But I know it's very early days still and I'm sure plenty of things will be improved upon before the actual release :) Also, I just wanted to let you know that the name of the guy Anette cheated with is written as "Peiteun Piteoseu" in Korean, so basically Peyton Peters. I just figured she should know the guy's name, haha! ;) Oh, and the girl watching them in the beginning's name is Jocelyn, which happens to be one of my favourite girl names ever, so obviously, she's not the one who tattled, haha ;) And aww, the baby is sooo cuuutee! I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll do to improve the babies and add more interactions and other things to do, etc, and for the child stage as well. Like you I also enjoy family gameplay the most so I really hope there's lots more of that coming! :)

Yesss I hate that about Sims 4. There’s absolutely no accountability or consequences for cheating. Sims 3 was good with that. If you were playing around in public the whole town was gossiping and your spouse would cuss you out, leave you etc. It was a challenge to gain their trust back. Noone gives a fk in Sims 4 lmao

But my Don Lothario was totally slapped by a lover of his at his wedding. That being said, I much prefered Sims 3 and 2 even because I feel like the weight of getting caught was way better. I like the InZoi rumor system so far, I just hope it gets tuned some so characters can live in the slight delusion of getting away with it before it catches up to them. But otherwise, impressed.

inzoi is approaching this genre as a true life simulation, and ea is still approaching it as a dollhouse simulation

The Sims was never a true life simulation nor was it meant to be. It’s just a very quirky and fantasy life simulation. It has some realistic aspects about it but it’s mostly unrealistic. Both types of simulation are interesting though.

Sims started as a life sim. I’ve played since sims 1. The fantasy stuff was added on later on. Even in sims 1 you had to buy an expansion pack for the magic stuff idr. But ea sims games last for years so sims 5 would be more competitive for these other new life sims. The state of sims 4 is too behind to compete with the newer life sims.

I love how many interactions there are and how relevant they are to current events. It’ll definitely help with storytelling. I don’t like how fast your partner finds out you’re cheating, though. It would be nice if it took a bit of time, or if a friend of theirs ACTUALLY had to see you cheating in order for you to get the message. Also, what are the rumors popping up above the head? That’s interesting. I’d like to know what those do.

Same, also I don’t want to preplan cut scenes. It means I can’t decide things in the moment, I have to already know I want them to happen which kills the spontaneous play. Buuuuuut it was nice to see consequences in this game. We need more baby/toddler beds, toys, interactions for sure.

The feature to create your own cut scenes is being developed. Im sure over time giving birth in a hospital will come to the game since they are already adding the hospitals. Took a couple decades for EA to do that lmaooo Custom cutscenes to start out with isnt too bad for me.

@@daonlyboriqua11I mean not true, you can go to the hospital to give birth in Sims 4. You get the choice to give birth at home or go to the hospital, you just don’t “see” it without Get to Work, but you can give birth at hospital. They walk out the door and disappear to the ‘hospital’ then eventually reappear and the baby is in the house. I miss actually bringing baby home. Sims 3 honestly did it best so far in this particular area. As of this date its my fav, InZoi may fix the birth scene issues, we’ll see.

Same, it seems to auto trigger even when no one is around. I am okay with the rumor system, its actually pretty good, just needs tuning. In Sims 3 I had one of my male Sims cheat and thought he got away with it and then suddenly his fiancée broke up with him a good in-game week later. That feels more on par with word getting around. So yeah, a little tuning to rumor spreading would be great.

Annette is doing some serious stress cleaning in this episode. Oh man, I am loving this messy, messy, fool slapping storyline. I almost hit me a high note with a OHHH baby. Oh, the rumors made me think of the 1980s song Rumors. I love how he was walking around all limping in the kitchen this is great. Her pregnancy hormones are all over the place throwing her stuffed animal. I really like how you are taking this relationship to the next level. I hope they develope the way the couple and Zoi interact with each other better with disagreements, having conversations at tables etc, the babies life state to look like babies. I am certain you all are talking about these issues.

I'm so GLAD the Zois can actually DO things to each other! I loved the fight, the clothes burning, etc. I'm so sick of our simpy sims just being little children. Real 5 year olds are more familiar with violence & drama than any depiction in the Sims. It's about time!! Naming babies/renaming in general is an absolute NECESSITY.
