Now this is something that I haven't found coved or even know by most people.
So I decided to show you the information I've picked up on how to unlock the best merchants.

An even more unknown thing these guys offer is if you talk to the Rando soldier with a knife and flashy braids with at-least one Rando coin in your inventory while on garbage island he'll give you his combat knife in exchange for the coin.

It doubles to gained from shanking but then you can't use the sharp glass from trading the torso and head

The sharp glass is only good if you hoarded enough mags and healing items up till the wastes because it gives geen bleed status and does recoil damage on attacks with the knife​@@Jack_Pepsi

I heard it is supposed to be given to the guy with the tv by the shop, and it was one of the stat boost events that were removed (like putting the crow in Roland’s cage)

I can confirm giving Kurtis his tooth back was a status boost. The only way you could get the gold tooth is if you searched every hidden magazine spot, fought all the hidden bosses, and spent no mags on anything else. I tried getting the mags for the gold tooth in the new updatr but I was off by one because I didnt kill Bob Versace and instead gave him the family photos back.

@@hml2833 That sucks. Finding the stat boosts on your own was rewarding. I wonder why were they removed? The status boosts I know about is if you put a baby crow with the other baby crow in the cage, getting enlightened, the cat postcard Joel draws, giving Kurtis his tooth back and the campfire scene in the Salt Town.

While you have georgy in your party while trading the rando toy, you can keep the toy and the guy will throw in an additional mystery jerky im addition to the 20 mags.

I think it was because they where away from the main parts of down town, only the lake.

Also, I have a sneaking feeling that we're only gonna see the smug looking one the next time we see their shop. The knife carrying rando seems very susceptible to enfranchisement, but the smug one has a will of steel, apparently.

Wait, I did exactly this and yet they aren't there at the salt basin. Did their area get moved in the update or did I do something wrong, cus I did almost exactly what the video said.

there's an a event switch that makes them appear, but yeah it isn't likely a bug or your own fault. So I say play on and check the basin.

How do i get the perpetual ring?

Go to the science research area, go all the way to the right where there’s text on a cliff, and fall off. You’ll take 500 damage, and in a cave, you’ll find a ring, that says it has hidden potential bring it to the cliff of perpetuallity and fall off it, and it’ll be come the perpetual ring
