Only way to find out if Nanku is a goo monster is to go to the black goo's origin... Varda, and find an engineer experimental mound to see if there is a similar creature within... (wink wink)

Nanku is possibly Steve and he was sent to keep an eye on you while you prove yourself to the predators (remember that's what it said in the first ep). And like the guy below, Nanku is building a predator school/arena thing so more predators can be trained.

Perhaps the mountains will prove to be a very strategic position for your arcane and botanical experiments. However, I personally would advise against having two-way see through glass due to the likelihood that you might be spied upon. As for Nanku, it is possible that it’s an experiment with genetic mutation with the use of the black goo. However, Nanku may not be such an experiment, but rather that Nanku is a naturally occurring organism that is capable of shapeshifting. The black goo would seem to produce more parasitic mutations in organisms that are exposed to it. Although, with that in mind, the best method of finding out would be to get an sample of Nanku’s DNA. Such a task may prove to be near impossible or fatal at worst. The best course of action would seem to be to convince Nanku that you can be trusted with such information. Otherwise, your exposure to the black goo may already be having an effect on the genetic expression of your DNA, or that there maybe a change in the epigenetics alone. Regardless, best of luck.

the reason I think nunku can shape shift is because of a genetic mutation in their DNA that vary few predators are born with and I think that steave from season 1 had that ability but didn't show it and he must have separated the genes from his DNA and put those genes into you while you were asleep (wink wink) and that's how you got your ability to shape shift. and im pretty sure that ability can only be pasted down through their ancestors... so in a way your kinda related to...nunku

it wasn't steve from season 1. u named that predator something else.... anywho... god im using forge and as a result an older version of botania.... hey r those dayblooms in ur chest? i thought dayblooms and nightshades were taken out? also... u only need 2 mana pylons for enchanting. u need 6 for copying and pasting enchantments from books onto items (requires alot of mana). also i could b wrong but i think u don't need a spreader for the altar, just have the altar placed next to a mana pool and it'll auto draw mana for crafting. as for the elven gateway... gonna need terrasteel. get urself a botania book
