I don't want to sound like a Lads fanboy, but the Gents cheated a fair bit, breaking traps wasn't allowed in the previous let's play yet they just broke all the tripwires, redstone etc. Ray actually dug around the blaze room and even asked if they could break traps. Overall, a few more rules should've been stated at the beginning of both games like no breaking traps, no building up etc.

This was a great idea for a Let's Play. Got to give Matt and Jeremy credit for making this tower. It's amazing. But I have one question. Anyone know how at 3:51 they made the entire floor disappear? I've been thinking of everything from pistons to TNT that could get rid of it and I can't figure it out. There was no sound of an explosion. There was no fire and there was no sound of pistons. It can be carpet on sand blocks, because once you remove one of the sand block the rest will fall accordingly. Idk its this weird thing where you can place sand blocks in the air with one support but once you remove it physics kicks in.

They got to the Tower of Pimps a lot more than the Lads did and they were pretty tenacious and creative throughout. For Storm The Tower X I think they should remove or give everyone armour, as it just makes the defenders almost unassailable.

I'll admit part 1 kind of seemed hopeless, but this time the gents actually did pretty well considering how overpowered the defenders of the tower are. Although that could be because of two things, Ryan's( and Geoff's) craftiness and Gavin's clumsiness. Plus I like that the lads really didn't camp the ladders and allowed the gents to actually reach the top of the tower.

As a professional Minecraft builder and editor, I can honestly say that this tower was absolute garbage. I mean, it had no structural integrity WHATSOEVER! It offered no modularity or flexibility, and only a TINY bit of resistance. Whoever built this must have been down right stupid. The tower itself offered no sort of clues as to whether it followed the "Ree mue-m baer mei" and the "tr-ou l' ing-yuo"principal of design inspired in the Qin and Hon Dynasties in China. Absolute disastrous build, the gents are down right idiots for not being able to ascend to the top with ease. I; however, would have been able to make many many MANY more improvements on this tower to make it as structurally sound as possible. That is why they call me "The MineWizard"! Edit: The Lava pool was a nice addition! But offered little to no extra resistance.

This was a great video :D Not really caring how fair it is, just laughing at how they fail at their attempts. I don't see how it's unfair, because there are plenty of ways to outwit the defending side. If not all the blocks, then get one block at a time.

The armor on the defending side makes any combat completely unfair. It still works as a game, but combat for the assaulting side has to be avoided, so it becomes a "get lucky and kill one of them while rushing to grab the tower before he respawns" style game. I think if they double the amount of pickaxes (to ensure the tower can always be grabbed) and maybe remove the armor chest piece it will be a lot better. Or redesign it completely so that there is no combat, and instead the defenders have way more traps to trigger manually.

From what I see all the defenders have to do is have one person to stand near the tower and always watch it the other two always looking out for other people and the attackers will be unable to do anything (given how much of an advantage the defenders have in combat). even if there was some elaborate plan that they could do to penetrate the defense they wouldnt be able to communicate it without the other team hearing it. Its a fun watch but still completely unfair.

Idea: instead of defenders having armor, put it on the attackers. More defense, better chance to take blocks. Since the attackers have pickaxes, diamond mind you, they still won't do as much damage as an Iron sword. It kind of balances it out.

Here’s a good plan: first attackers should mine some obsidian, cover the bedroom doors with obsidian, kill the defenders, and since they don’t have pickaxes they can’t get out of their bedroom/spawnpoints. Then mine the tower and jump off the tower into the water and win.

Is anyone else really confused about how that first trap worked? I see that a bunch of signs fell into the lava, meaning there was some kind of setup like Indoor Pool had, but what made the wool on top of the signs fall? It should have stayed where it was.

it was carpet ontop of signs, different properties. It also works great to keep mobs away from your house, because their A.I. doesn't realize it's a surface they can walk on, so they just stay in place and jump to move.

You know, since they already brought back MegaCraft, why not just bring back fan-created let's plays? I , personally, have already built a minecraft game world on the Xbox that I play with my friends sometimes, but I'd be honored to have them make a let's play out of it. Plus, I'm really interested in seeing other fan maps because the last ones were so creative and interesting., and they wouldn't have to spend hours building let's plays themselves. You do realise that Ray in the first 11 mins of their attack also destroyed some of the traps? Both teams didn't destroy the dispensers but the rest has been fair game. The reason why the lads were so fucked was because Gavin + Michael ran through parts, triggered the mobs who then triggered more to spawn. By that point there were too many to easily disarm the traps. Gavin also went down to deliberately trigger some of the traps, something which none of the gents did.
