That was called vein-mining, part of the vein-miner mod. you crouch and mine a block, and all of the same blocks that are touching in a certain radius are mined. it's super useful, but as you've seen, super dangerous.

​@@jackricketts7025 They didn't ditch it. This was just a modpack they wanted to try at the time. Achievement City only had a few episodes afterwards. I believe the reasoning was that the original Achievement City was simply lost or got corrupted (I forget when or where it was mentioned, but Matt definitely elaborated a bit on it when Gavin asked him about it). They tried to do this sort of spiritual successor to Achievement City called Achieveland, but it didn't really take off to the same degree (it had its moments though, still a big fan of the "dusk boys" messing with Jack). Achievement City has not been recovered since, at least not to my knowledge.

Just as a heads up, the "Heavy Sieve" they made is for compressed Dirt/Gravel/Sand/Dust what they need for uncompressed(Normal) blocks to sift is the "Sieve" it's the same recipe but replace the logs with planks then your good to go

no, the way veinmein works, is it mines out all the adjacent and touching blocks to the one you are mining. Jack was mining a solid block of tree wood, gavin was mining a wooden plank, which the floor was made of. also in the replay you can see it stem from gavin when it shows his screen

if they try again, Jeremy made the wrong type of sieve. Heavy is meant to be used for compressed gavel, sand, and dust. Need to make a regular oak sieve (uses planks not logs). It was infact not JACKs fault! Gavin was the one who made the planks dissappear! Jack just happened to be mising the tree. What happened is that gavin made all of the simular block he was mining become mined instantly cause of what he did, and what was he mining? Wooden Planks, and thus.....

My god. I've had this song stuck in my head since i was a little kid. Like, I've been singing just one lyric of the song for the longest time, knowing that I've heard it, but not having any idea what the actual song was. Whenever I asked people of the song, based on my poor attempt of a rendition of that one lyric "HOOOLDS OOOONNNN, HOLDS OOOONNN," they gave me no chance of learning the name of the song, as well as looks of painful distain. For the YEARS of me listening to you guys singing 'Oh Sherry,' it was only until you finally went past the first two lines that I discovered how it was always right under my god damn nose. I watched this series religiously while it was coming out. I would always watch as much of it as possible on my lunch break at work and be excited to finish it when I got home. It's so incredibly disappointing to see what's happened to this group and to the company. To those who've been let go for the dumbest of reasons or abused by the company, I hope the things get better for you and the community supports you as much as you deserve. To those who abused others at the company or took advantage of the community, I hope the guilt eats you alive for the rest of your life.
