Props for Geoff for not throwing the Munchdew off the edge. He really, really didn't want those trees touched and was even trying to build them an area out of the way for it and wall of the trees but the still planted it in range. And yet instead of destroying it he only moved it. After all, most of the time when AH goes for revenge they go for the nuclear option.

Chicken Tip For Geoff: Take the resource that the chickens make (ie diamond for diamond chicken) and put 1 of them in each of the slots that the nesting pens give you. Those slots will now only fill with that resource, you won't be drowning in chicken poop or unnecessary eggs, they'll just keep filling until you have 5 stacks of 64. diamond, gunpowder, sand etc. Ender Pearls will only be 5 stacks of 16, just empty out those pens more often, making sure to always leave 5 behind, one in each slot, so that the cycle continues.

I know this video (and this comment) is 3 years old and I can't change what happens on screen, but... I'm playing through Sky Factory 3 right now, just starting watching this series after I finished breeding most of my chickens, and managing chicken coops like this just seemed like common sense. Of course you'd do that, right..? It's painful watching his chicken coops filled with garbage like that, not producing any resources. Same with trying to breed them while they're all next to each other. Separate them in pairs of two! Big oof.

I love that Geoff loves it, but really the whole thing is a mess, haha. All of his chickens are at starting stats so they don't produce much, and he has no reliable emptying system so the nests are clogged most of the time anyway. That they're low stat chickens also means they produce a variety of slightly higher stat eggs, meaning a chicken could clog a nest with eggs alone. Max stat chickens only produce one kind of egg (a max stat egg) and produce way faster. Hooking all of the nests up to a conduit system would allow for easy and instantaneous removal of items at no upkeep, where they can then be sorted into drawers or the like. A fully optimized chicken farm is actually pretty damn good. Either way nothing compares to Jack's garden cloches as they have got to be the most broken auto-farming item in the modpack by a long shot. They grow even MA crops at ridiculous speeds that would normally need tonnes of growth crystals for, except they're dirt cheap to make and power. They also endlessly duplicate seeds, which breaks the high tier MA crops so hard.

Obligatory advice that won't get seen until weeks later: Absorption hoppers are way better than item collectors and they gather liquid XP as well. The only downside: you need 4x speed importers to make up for limited storage. If your mob trap is big enough, you can import the liquid XP into Refined Storage and pump it out into Experience Obelisks, Soul Binders, Anvils and Enchanting Tables. Golden Spikes help more if you go the XP farm route, I think.
