You should consider placing torches in the caves for spawn proofing. And to pacify the spawner you can place a torch on top of it or right next to it and retreat so that the zombie horde despawns and you can later go there to convert it into an exp farm if you feel like it. Another side note, your wool tent is very susceptible to a thunderstorm, if a lightning strikes it, it'll go up in flames.

For the torch comment I should clarify if you're stingy on using coal, you could just smelt logs in the furnace which makes charcoal and that can be used to make torches just like coal.

Thank you so much! I'll definitely start making torches using charcoal and placing them around. As for the tent, did not know that part. I might have to just keep it as a temporary base then. By the way, based on what you've seen so far, what would you like to see next in destination or to do list? I was thinking of making smaller minor outposts as 'rest points' in case I get caught at night.

@@Mikezodia That sounds like an interesting idea for sure. And as for the thunderstorm problem there is a fix. Smelt the copper and make a lightning rod and place that close to your base but not adjacent to the flammable blocks. These divert lightning strikes in a 128 block radius and when the lightning does strike it the affected area is like a 6x6 square I think. That's literally the only realistic use for copper early game. Late game you get some decent decorative blocks for base building. I've found the series super interesting so far with you learning the ropes. Just go at your pace, explore and build what gives you the most sense of fun. I've seen so many people posting perfect starts and super optimized playthroughs these days that your noob friendly learning as you go, stumbling along playthrough is sort of refreshing and entertaining in a different sort of a way. Also I do like the design of the tent though it gives this nomadic vibe. So you should definitely consider that design for the outposts that you mention. In the end minecraft to me is building a world that tells a story even though not many people will find that story interesting, its what you find interesting. Hoping you continue the series and enjoy making it.

@@jareenamrahs Thank you! I am glad you are enjoying the videos. I also enjoy seeing the new changes in the game. The nomadic style does sound good right now. At the moment, the location isn't bad, but overall the landscape isn't quite what I would prefer. I am thinking of packing up and exploring but I also have this itch to get revenge on that zombie spawner and see what kind of loot is there. Let's see how things work out on the next episode!
