Funny how you do not understand how the damage/hp is calculated if it was the same in all HoMM games :D Hp is for 1 troop. Stack can have multiple troops up to limit. Damage on unit is of one troop. So if stack has 20 troops and damage dealt is 2 than the total damage of stack is 40. If enemy stack has 20 troops and their HP is 5 than you will kill 8 troops. Of course your damage on troops has randomness range so it gives you prediction in the tooltip. There maybe also some resistances or something, idn about that. At least HoMM had that

@@fremenGaming1995 was when the first Heroes of Might and Magic and I was playing Might and Magic before that series was even a thing. 30+ years LOL My first Console was Paddle Pong that hooks to a TV lol
