The major implication on this route, if you pay attention to what Revya is saying, is that if Layna had actually employed some common sense and just flat-out TOLD Revya what she needed them for in the beginning, the ENTIRE Demon Route could have been avoided. This entire route is the "Poor Communication Kills" trope taken to a major extreme. Because Layna refused to, however, we're treated to a Revya that has likely asked themself the question of "Was my entire life a lie?" and gone berserk because of it.

Which is, as it turns out, a very interesting take on the main story! I personally enjoy that you can see the game from multiple perspectives. :D

I like this path because its very rare when a game lets you say "Fuck it I'm killing everything" and actually make a separate story for it. Also there's more Gig. Everything is better with Gig.

You are 100% correct! It's great to be able to play the bad guy for once, and Gig being Gig makes things much more interesting. :D

I'm going to be honest, I don't typically like it when the dark path is the last thing that can be played. I mean, it's not like I play such a story if it's not needed for the true ending anyway (I'm kind of a softie), but it leaves a depressing taste in ones mouth, at least to me.

It's definitely a matter of taste. I personally prefer to see "alternate" paths after finishing the "true" path of the storyline, which this game does, no matter what the vibe of those alternate paths are.

thejonnymar I guess I'm the other way around: I like to have the truth be the final thing I'm left with, to tie everything back together. But that's just me. Also, watching this Lp, definitely a fun series.

I dunno... If the demon path is like typical 'bad' playthroughs, it should be rather unrewarding and actually fairly tedious. But maybe that's just me...

wouldn't that max gigify be for you if you start a second cycle from ending the game on the gameover option against the first battle against the 1st world eater?

Going down the Demon Path was interesting for me. I felt no remorse. No guilt. Until Trish. Then my heart hurt.

Destroying the world and stuff is no big deal but Trish did not deserve THAT. Gotta say though, it does make you appreciate Endorph and Odie even more with how hard they try. I've always enjoyed Endorph's encouragement towards Odie.

I gotta say though I think my favorite part of this whole game is the fight against Asagi if you defeat Feinne when you're not supposed to. So much 4th Wall breaking and even a mention of Zetta.

A little odd they don't show you actually killing Lady Layna...just sort of a fade to black...but oh well....looking forward to seeing how this goes down...although kind of sad to see Danette go...I rather liked her character

Yeah, it's kind of weird that they don't show some of the deaths during this path...and some awesome characters were definitely going to be missing during this part of the game! ^_^

Maybe Revya from the Lord Median ending was reincarnated into Revya's body, and remembered everything from his previous life.

+thejonnymar I just thought of something. In the end of of the Median ending, Revya and Gig's souls were both fused by Drazil, then ripped apart. So maybe instead of Revya being reincarnated into his body, it was a surviving piece of the fused Revya and Gig in the demon path.

Also whenever I listen to a character voiced by Yuri, all I hear is "BRING ME MORE HOTPODS!!!"
