I loved Galaga and Galaxian as a kid, but only because the names were so cool.

Didn't get around to playing much more than space invaders, but our grocery store had a couple arade boxes growing up. I always went shopping so I could waste my quarters on dungeons and dragons!

Personally I’ve always preferred Galaga over Galaxian. Just something about controlling the ship in Galaxian feels a bit stiffer than other vertical/horizontal arcade shooters.
