I kinda like the zoom format. It’s good for viewers to easily see everyone’s face/reactions. Especially for BOTC. Also, you can incorporate other people who might not be able to make it to London for in person gaming. That being said, very excited for live board game club. I hope they do bring back some zoom BGC from time to time though.

33:15 the answer to “how long have places like this existed” completely threw me off for this one. Police stations definitely haven’t been around for as long as organized societies have. There have been precursors to it, but police, as an institution, haven’t even existed until around the 1800’s. That’s actually a relatively recent invention

spoilers: super proud of myself for the hospital round. I was watching blind, and not only did I figure out that it was hospital after like 3-ish questions, I also figured out Adam was the spy early on as well. His confusion at chairs with wheels was a massive giveaway, I wish someone had caught it. Other than the second theatre, which I also got pretty quickly, I was pretty rubbish at the rest of the rounds.

I want to say I love Blairs "whats that in the corner?" Question. Newbie spyfall questions are "yes or no to this?" And the answer is almost always "yes why else would you bring it up". "Whats that in the corner?" Is two steps above that, its basically "tell me something that only people who know where we are would know"

You need to add an SRS stipulation to the point system where if you get wrongly accused of being the spy you get 2 points and the spy gets 4 points.

(spoiler) On the one with the beach I honestly thought crusader army, there was an animal, a horse, some people went there as a kid, referencing the child crusade, one didn't wear shoes, possible reference to later crusaders when they just sent any riffraff in. Lots of sweating men around since they went to the holy land, the question of whether or not they liked the ones in charge made a lot of sense. Especially when Sully said there was danger all around. I was completely convinced they were talking about the crusades😅

Awesome. I’m a fan of nrb and would even look at a Patreon for it for sure. But I think a hybrid Zoom and live format would work best. Given the games you play, reading faces is huge and that wouldn’t easily translate to live atmosphere. I don’t know…
