I started listening to Emma's podcast bc of you and I had similar thoughts! I'm 26 and I definitely feel like I'm listening to someone younger or a little more naive talking about topics. Some episodes I can't listen to bc yeah just requires more life experience like you said. As I get older, it's weird to watch younger (21ish) creators bc I can't relate anymore and my perspective and energy is just different than theirs. That's part of why I like your content because I can relate more to your lifestyle, energy, perspectives, etc.

I feel like I've grown out of vlogs in general, tbh. I am almost 30, about to have a kid, so the lifestyle vloggers in their early/ mid twenties are not living a life I find appealing anymore, but family vlog content is SO TOXIC! I dont want to watch other people's highly edited, sometimes scripted parenting attempts that clearly come at the expense of their kids' overall wellbeing. So I end up watching content related to hobbies, like booktube and lets plays and knitting videos. And sometimes the channels includes vlogs about specific things related to the other content on the channel and that works for me. But yeah, I've realized that I cannot watch someone in a vlog only context anymore

your comment on emma / need to go to college is so funny because i just came here after watching brittany broski’s podcast episode where she talks about the same thing!! not with emma specifically but more generally concerning the internet and people who create content like that lol. highly recommend listening!

I watch mostly let's plays. Lifestyle vlogs feels too "keep up with the jones's" for me. I was even a little iffy when your content shifted but I feel like the manic Target runs for seasonal decor, sprinkled with Taco Bell and cozy game recommendations keeps it grounded and I still love watching you

I've never listened to Emma's podcast - but I didn't start watching "lifestyle youtubers" until the pandemic, and by then I was already in my mid-twenties (1996 girlie!). Sometimes I want to watch cute aesthetic lifestyle vlogs but then they'll start talking about college. I wish I'd seen them when I was in hs/college, but now watching these influencers makes me think of how chaotic my early twenties were lol. Someone already commented something like that - like them, I also enjoy your channel since it feels like we're on similar wavelengths!

I don’t know if you like general science things, but if you do, I would recommend The Infinite Monkey Cage podcast/radio show. It’s hosted by Professor Brian Cox, and comedian Robin Ince. Each episode is based on a topic where they get a panel of 2 experts in the field, and a comedian, this allows you to get into really in depth high science topics, but made to be very accessible for everyone

Hey Ken I've been catching up on your content over the past couple of months since I started watching you a while back. The videos are great and nice to watch. Ik you already addressed my other comment about this but I think I still notice some slight technical issues with lag( could just be me though) with some of your videos. Also, I miss the old outro so much it reminded me of Princess and the Frog lol but the new outro is good as well. I'm glad i finally got a chance to catch up with your content from over a year ago onward to today. I keep a list of KZbinrs I watch and keep up with. Its been a while since I started watching your videos over a year ago and its nice to be caught up for now. It was nice watching your videos and I can't wait to see how you are with content when I return. Keep up your amazing work!

the Invisible Life was soooo hard to get through. what blew my mind was how **SPOILER INCOMING** ------------ Addie had the “curse” of living forever but being invisible, and all she ever did was steal stuff and lay around being woeful. I get it, you can’t make a mark. but I feel like you could do so much more with your time other than just moseying around and feeling sorrowful. also I agree, there should’ve been spiciness. they insinuate a bit of a sexual relationship with devil man but I was disappointed we didn’t get DETAILS of their more intimate moments together over all those centuries

❤ thanks for the video ! My Halloween was spent at the renaissance festival! They added a knight club & it was the best Halloween party I’ve ever been to. With Burlesque, acrobats and ren faire people in costumes. Oh and it took place in a Greek temple ! I stopped watching certain creators just because my life changed or their life changed. For example some fitness influencers became mom influencers & I am not a mom 🤷♀️ I still check in every once in a while though lol

I’ve watched maybe 2 Emma Cham. videos and have never seen her podcast. But as someone who’s in their late 20s and has a lot of life experience I wanna see her speak now😂😊. I usually drop podcasts when i go through phases of just not liking to listen anymore lol. I dont think i’ve ever “lost touch” with one. Maybe the Off the Pill Podcast? I was enjoying it until after Michelle Phan was on. I just kinda strongly disliked the co-host😅

ohhhh I've grown apart with a lot of creators when they started having kids and their content started shifting toward family vlogging or talking about parenting and stuff... I was like ok I'll see my way out now hahaha not just cause family vlogging is kinda problematic but also because obviously I just can't relate/not interested lmao 🥲 also I freaking love the streamhop masterpiece and I want it tatted on me you're an artist thank you for your service

okay just watched and you put words to what i couldn’t pinpoint!!! like what was the wholeeee point of everything??? her relationship to other men? that’s it? it almost nulled the point of her selling her soul, which i feel like could be the author trying to make this point about the ~femme~ existence maybe??? but i agree, it was not a point made well at all if that was even the point. we’d have to be reeeacching and giving the author the benefit of the doubt to say that’s even maybeeee what they intended. UGH. anyways, loved your video loll. 10/10.
