That Burning + Block Squash death has to be one of the best deaths I've ever seen. That Daredevil Run against Squizzard gave me sooooooooooo much trouble until I figured out the same strategy you used.

You know, an interesting thought is that, in the original game, there was an unused boss of sorts named, "Ice Man." Knowing the two models that exist for him (the beast itself and a giant chunk of ice that it throws), and watching how the fight with the sand boss went, there's a small chance that Ice Man would've fought like this in the original Mario Galaxy, and you would've taken him down the same way. The difference is that you'd fight with ice physics, I'd guess.

I've been to Las Vegas a couple of times which is in a desert, and the first time I was there, seeing the sandy ground and the mountains all around, it felt like I was on another planet!

I live in a desert (AZ), but it's not a barren desert. There's tropical trees and stuff, and other than the summer and the 8 tornados we got a couple weeks ago, it's pretty nice.

Well Tim Being pretty close to deserts myself (l.a.) I can tell you to imagine the dryness you get during the cold season and imagine it's really hot. That's pretty much what it's like.

When you get the slowdown effect and change the music at 5:32 or so, the slowed-down music sounds very Star Trek (Original Series) themed, very appropriate for the setting.

Answer is yes, that part is possible to do without slowing it down, I did it in my playthrough but it's extremely difficult.

You know NCS, you might like deserts and what not, but both Scaraba and Dusty Dunes Desert in Earthbound drive me ABSOLUTELY INSANE, mainly because of how easy it is to get Sunstroke. Not to mention the frustration involved with the Leevers in the Desert Colossus in Ocarina Of Time.

9:39 epic indeed. If I make Super Mario RPG: A Dry-boned Decision, I will make a roasted marshmallow boss. When you defeat him, Mario tries to start a conversation but accidentally lights the boss on fire, and the marshmallow hardens into a toast golem, jumps into the air from being burnt, and lands between his exercise boxes and gets crushed. The party is covered in blood and Rosalina freaks out.
