The reason Mortimer came and shoved Don was because when you use the telescope during the day, you are spying on neighbours. So, he was peeping on Mortimer (which is why he was thinking of him) and generally if you peep long enough, that Sim will get mad.

Brings me back to the good old days of Sims 2. I remember when I used to play when i was 3 and i left my computer on and all the children and pets got taken by the social worker and everyone died. Lolz the brutal days of TS2!:p

I was recently playing the Sims 2 and the same job opportunity came up for me. I said make a point as well and I got a huge promotion. Although I think it's because in my aspiration awards I have all of the work choices unlocked and I had an 80% chance of it being a good thing rather than like what happened with Don. Nonetheless, love this series!

In the Sims 2 when you 'stargaze' in the morning, you're actually just spying on some other random household. The person who shows up in the little thought bubbles is the person they are spying on. That person will always show up at your house once you leave your telescope, shove you, and then go back home. *EDIT* Oh, and with the twins she should do what typical girl twins end up like. One will be really tomboy-like and the other will be really girly. Hopefully she'll do that.

1. because i play the sims 2 everyday and that's an obvious interaction. 2. Thought bubbles of mortimer were constantly going up on Dons head. 3 . the way he was looking looked like he was spying. 4. Sims dont randomly run into your house and shove you around unless you've been spying. Hoped this helped you uncultured swine

Mortimer Goth was there because when Don was looking through the microscope they sometimes look through sims homes and watch what they are doing so Mortimer got mad and came over to basically teach Don a lesson lol

XD If you have your sim "look through" a telescope during the day, then there is a chance they might spy on someone, which you can see by looking at the thought bubble that show up above their head. To avoid that, just "stargaze" with a telescope at night.
